"Let Aa decide the fate of the fallen," says Wraith.  "Those warriors would give no quarter and would, I presume, expect none in return.   Theirs is an honorable demise."  The airman preens himself as he speaks and says, "I am relatively unscathed, so please help those among us who bore the worst of it.  If there is anything that I can do to help, please tell me."

As she purrs and hums she gets up and carries a bowl of ripe, juicy, and delicious looking berries around to each of the injured, offering them a handful.  When that is done she moves back to the poultice and carries that bowl around, offering to smear some of the cool, minty smelling mixture onto those who still need the healing.

Aeletheros sits on the deck, a couple sizable wounds obvious beneath his armor. He bears his pain in silence, eyes cast down at the deck; "I could use some ministration to my wounds, not that I earned the right by my extended absence from the battle. Maybe a little basic first aid, and I will let them heal over time as a reminder. That being said I wonder what it was the Kang wanted that they were willing to die over instead of negotiating for our aid in good faith?"

She cares both for Mirna and Aeletheros without comment.  She is still purring loudly, like a mother catdrak caring for her kits.  On her lips is a small smile, and she nods encouragingly and kindly to those who let her care for them.

After the battle...

J'landria treats Mirna and Aeletheros with berries while Aalistair prays over Athellin; all three experience their wounds healing and improving almost immediately.

As J'landria has moved on to Aeletheros, Mirna struggles back to her feet, and begins searching the Kang leader.  She comes out with a few sheets of parchment written in a language she doesn't understand, a sizable satchel of gold lumens, as well as some silver and copper coins, as well as some personal items such as flint and steel, etc.

Mirna:  13/26
Rioniv:  15/22 SP: 0
Aeletheros 20/22 SP: 3

Kang 4:  -6/30; AL: 8  PR: 2 down
Kang 5:  0/30; AL: 8  PR: 2 down

This is about 10 minutes after the battle.  Healing continues.

Those still curious about the Kang might make an INT roll...

Aalistair rises from beside Athellin and moves to the body of the Kang that he felled earlier [Kang #5?], and attempts to invoke the will of Aa again.

"Oh mighty Aa in your beneficence work through your humble servant to restore this servant of the light to health so that they might continue your work upon this world."

However, this time his prayers have no effect and the wounds of the Kang remain.

Aalistair sighs. "Aa is not with this one it seems."

Aalistair rolled 5 using 1d20+3. Casting Laying on of Hands. Lvl 10, +5 to roll for casting from spellbook.
Aalistair rolled 19 using 1d20+1. Int roll for knowledge of Kang.

Rammid, having come through the battle no worse for wear watches the others with a look of awe on his face as they go about their healing. After a moment of being awestruck he sobers up and says,
"I best get down to the ground and let our companion know what is going on and collect our parcels or else our stop here will be for naught."

Rammid quickly makes his way back down to the street, two crewmen in tow, to find Zosha and the supplies as they left.  With a little effort, all the supplies come on up to the windship.

Athellin and J'landria continue with the healing efforts.

"Mirna," Aalistair calls. "Can you bring those papers you took from the Kang? Zosha, can you look at these," the pilgrim asks. "Also, while you were below with the supplies, did you see the Kang depart? Did his servant meet him below? A skinny bald fellow." He gestures to his own bald head. "A... Aa help me. A Mandahlin?"

J'landria looks up at Rammid, rubbing her face with her hands, then smoothing her fur.

"Yes, please," she tells him.  "Just let me clean these."

Her fingers deftly work cleaning, scraping, wiping, and finally tucking them back into her pack.  She stands to her full willowy height and gestures for Rammid to lead the way.

Rammid and J'landria leave the windship, heading down to the customs tower (not far, as the windship is actually docked at this tower).

Mirna brings the paper and parchment scraps to Aalistair, and Wraith and Zosha crowd around him.

Zosha stretches up to peer at the papers Aalistair holds.  She looks, frowns, and shakes her head, "Sorry, it makes no sense to me."

She rocks back on her heels, and adds, "I did see a great, bloody Kang come down out of the tower while I was below, and now that you mention it, he was followed by a slight, bald Mandalan.  The Kang barked something at the man, and either I missed it, or it was not in Talislan."

Aalistair looks to the others clustered around the papers. "They mean little to me. Foreign writing. I never was the best of students in my days back at Temple."

"I wonder if we aught not pull away from the docks now that we're loaded. Stay nearby to pick up Rammid and the Jaka. Or to run to their aid, but prevent any more unannounced boarders."

Aeletheros thanks his companions for the healing, looking himself over; "Well done, what little injury is left should heal with some rest. As far as those papers go, if Wraith can't read them I doubt I would be able to. I am sure we can find someone somewhere who can, just not here, in case the surviving Kang brings some more reinforcements. I have no problem keeping an eye on the docks and the stairs leading upwards to them while we wait for the others."

I don't think Wraith has any applicable skills, but he could make a PER roll to see if he can derive anything.

Looking at the windship and the docks, it may be possible to pull off away from them, but it would slow down some of the repair work, adding on a couple more days.  With the injuries suffered and time lost recovering from battle, at the dock Wraith and Aeletheros estimate two more days repair; four or five otherwise -- assuming the desire to repair and recover from the storm damage.

Wraith attempts to decipher the documents, but fails.  Perhaps his thoughts are still jumbled from the battle that just ensued.  He hands the documents back to Aalistair and turns to Aeletheros.  "Well, my friend.   Well, I always knew that I was not meant to be a scholar."  The airman smiles.

05:55, Today: Wraith Zephyr rolled 8 using 1d20+2. Deciphering documents.
