Character Creation
For this game I am using a simplified version of the Twilight 2013 system.
Therefore the key numerical elements that describe a character are:
Attributes:
Awareness (AWA) – a relative measure of how much attention a character actually pays to their senses and what they are telling them.
Coordination (CDN) – a character’s hand-eye coordination.
Fitness (FIT) – a measure of a character’s endurance and the strength of their immune system.
Muscle (MUS) – a character’s physical strength, muscle tone and flexibility.
Cognition (COG) – a character’s logical reasoning, abstract thought and creativity.
Education (EDU) – the extent of a character’s learning as defined by modern education standards.
Personality (PER) – a character’s capacity for social interaction and empathy.
Resolve (RES) – a character’s psychological stability and mental endurance.
Coolness Under Fire (CUF) – this represents a character’s capacity to override their basic mammalian survival instincts – it is effectively courage in the face of immediate physical danger.
Observe-Orient-Decide-Act (OODA) – this determines how quickly a character can react to sudden, unexpected events, usually violent ones.
