Jack smiled as he pulled his friend into a hug. "That's great news Tim. Told ya you just had to keep looking." He released his friend and stepped aside so they could enter the house. "Come on in, Penny's in the living room with the babies."

  Tim chuckled, and said "Yeah, May's the one for me."

May followed Tim's friend into the mansion still holding on to Tim's hand. She leaned over to whisper in Tim's ear. "You didn't mention  I'm pregnant, or are you waiting to tell him?"

  Tim smiled, and kissed her first, then said softly "I'm letting you tell, my love.  It's your choice, and I don't want to steal your thunder."

Jack led them into the parlor where Penny waited with Tori and Diantha. He sat down next to Penny wrapping an arm around her. "Tim and May are here, though I'm sure you already knew that. They're engaged too, so good news all around."

  Penny nodded, and said "Yep.  I can recognize Tim's mental signature.  May . .. yours has changed, but not in a bad way."

May walked in with Tim, taking a seat on the Loveseat and pulling Tim down to sit with her. "I can explain that. Turns out I'm half angel and my 'other half' is waking up. My Dad, whom I just met today, saved my mother years ago, in more ways than one."

  Penny smiled, and said "It makes more sense now, doesn't it?  You're the angelic soul that Tim needs."

May smiled back at Penny. "Yeah it really does," When Tim sat down she shifted so she was sitting on his lap. "He's just what I was looking for."

  Tim hugged May, and kissed her shoulder as she sat on his lap, then said softly "She's marvelous.  Really.  Jack . . . would you be my best man too?"

Jack smiled at his best friend. "Of course Tim, its only fair after all seeing as your mine."

  Tim grinned, and hugged May as he added "May is awesome, Jack.  She's not at all fazed by the weird stuff I do!  Even with turning into coherent energy fields."

Jack smiled at his friend. "Looks like we both found the perfect girl Tim, I'm just glad you didn't have to go through what we did."

May frowned at Tim's friends words. "What did you have to go through?"

  Penny said quietly "You really don't want to know, May.  But hell on earth would be a good descriptor."

May frowned and ducked her head. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry."

  Penny rose, still carrying Tori, and came over, laying her hand on May's as she said softly "May, it's not that you're prying, but that I don't want to utterly horrify you.  I don't even remember everything that happened, but until I met Jack, it was bad enough that I literally mindwiped myself.  Multiple times.  Jack was tortured, but not the same way I was.  The man who kidnapped Jack was using us both for 'research specimens'.  I have no idea how long I was in his possession, but his favorite pet name for me was his 'pretty little toy whore'.  So you can guess from there."  Her voice was soft, and apologetic, and she added "Take into account, I'm an empath and a telepath, and when someone touches me, I don't get a choice, I end up reading their emotions, like it or not."

May frowned as she heard Penny's tale and when she finished May stood up and hugged the tiny Asian girl. "That sounds terrible if you ever need to talk or just need a gal pal to hang with you let me know."

  Penny hugged back, and said "I would like that.  Jack says I need to have a few more friends to hang out with when he's off on assignment with the DPA.  So  . . yes, please?  And you can help me begin the long term job of planning the wedding for Jack and I.  Because I don't know how weddings really go?"

She smiled as Penny hugged her back. "Of course, and I'll help you take care of this adorable little girl too. I'm going to need the practice, Tim and I are expecting."

  Penny hugged May back, and said "That's wonderful!  How soon will you be getting married then?  I have the feeling you can get away with it as soon as you like, I have to wait until I'm 18."

"We just found out a little while ago so we're not sure yet but soon. I want it to be before I get too big. Easier to fit into the gown that way. I'm way excited. I'm having twin girls I hope they'll be as adorable as yours." May reached out with one finger to pokeTori's nose "Beep"

  Penny hugged May again as she smiled, and May heard {{Thank you!  Mama says it is polite to say thank you when someone says something nice.}}

May smiled at little Tori as she slowly ended the hug. "And she's so polite already! Though to be honest I'm a little worried about that myself. I wasn't born with powers but with means Tim who knows. It's hard enough parenting children without powers, what if they have wings and try to fly out the window or something?"

  Tim chuckled, and said "One, you have wings, and you can chase them in the air.  Two, *I* can fly, but I might be a little umm, hard to handle?  Either shocking or noisy, as I'm either coherent sound or electricity, and I wouldn't want to HAVE to, but I probably could."
