Re: Tzarina's compound
2k listened to the two converse, lost in his own thoughts, he remembered the "family" that he had. In one, he was an uncle. But in his current time line, he had a wife and child. Remembering her in past tense, made him cover his mouth in grief. All he had was his daughter... Where ever in the Space-time continuum she was. Ironically, in the dimension that he was an uncle, his niece and daughter had the same name as his first cousin and sister in another.
"Nina..." 2k thought to himself. He brought himself to, enraged by Lunningham's words on the day he couldn't save his wife:
"You think your a god with that temporal tech of yours but your not. Just like I stopped you from sniffing out Ivon back at the TTA HQ years ago, I will prevent YOU from saving your beloved Zahra. * Maniacal laughter* Sucks to be you!"
That day brought both joy and pain to Othniel. The joy of seeing both brain children of Lunningham, the Space Juggernaut known as Lainhardt Omega and Katie Evanston meet their end. Though Katie was dealt with by humanoid means, L.O could not. The ship was made solely out of the impenetrable Urelite mineral... No way in but many ways out. Furthermore, L.O. was time-jump proof. What was more, Lunningham had kidnapped his wife and child but in the end, Othniel's wife, Zahra was able to disconnect the jammer and allowed him and his friends to get on board and send L.O. to its death inside a singularity. In the escape, Nina was sucked into a transdimensional vortex created by L.O trying to time jump out of the black hole.
"She's the reason I keep on traveling. I will find her." Othniel thought, recalling of his journey.
Zahra's death wasn't in vain. It was most definitely a sacrifice. A rather UNEXPECTED maneuver. Yet the stalemate meant the end of Lunningham and Ivon... In the current timeline. Unlike the numerous of times Lunningham and Ivon had robotic clones of themselves, this time, they were the real deal.
The last time Othniel saw Nina he couldn't recognize her. Mainly because the STC had put age on her. The moment Bella appeared, he saw a translucent figure of his daughter next to her. Othniel closed his eyes and shook his head at the "hallucination". When he opened his eyes, the image was gone.
That's when Dragon Fist mentioned 2k. The detective snapped out of it but didn't address him. His eyes were on Bella.
"Y-You're back? *ahem* I mean... Sorry, you remind me much of my daughter. You and her about the same height and age. She's a time traveler too. The problem is, she's lost somewhere in the STC. *ahem* Anyway, if we jump back far enough, we will be able to get into this area before they arrive. I couldn't use my temporal imaging to track them because they have a jammer that prevents me from doing so. Yet I DID sense the operator's NOOBISH skills. If it was GOOD jammer, it would of made my equipment not even show static. Which means that this jammer is the BEST they've got. Normally, the time criminals I've dealth with would have a jammer that extends into the STC. This type of jammer would make ANY time-jump into the area impossible and would extend its "blocking" capabilities to covering a period of time. Say several months to say the least."
