Re: Dragon and Tiger
Katy put the shirt on over the tank-top she was wearing, taking deliberate care not to move to quickly. The last thing she needed was to fall over again. Accepting the aspirin and water with a thankful nod to Lucas, she downed the pill and half the contents of the glass. Setting the glass down on the desk, she smiled at Lucas.
"There's no way you could've..." She started to say. Then a bright light engulfed him, and when it faded....he was gone. Katy's hand was already glowing with a bright blue force.....strange, given the fact that her normal psychic aura was purple, and under Brain's influence it had been black. But seeing that it was only her and Helena now, the glow faded. The power was not of evil origin, and Katy or Helena would've probably sensed if he were in danger.
She waited for a moment or two, then said, "I didn't mean for any of this to happen, you know." Katy said, "The Psy-Witch thing, I mean." She waited for her former master to say something. When Katy was only beginning to figure out the limits of her power, Helena had stepped in and helped her hone it. Not only that, but Helena became like a second mother figure. A snarky, sarcastic, funny one at that, but still someone Katy could look up to. Someone who was trying to make the most of her abilities, to make a difference.
