The two looked at each other, then back at Ozzy and Clarissa.

"So...let me get this straight...our son is Dragon Fist.....farfetched in a way but it makes sense. Lucas couldn't stand bullies when he was younger.." Mr. Martinez said.

  Clarissa nodded, and said softly "Yes.  He's pushed himself to his limits trying to protect this city and everyone in it, and now he needs a short break."

Lucas' mother and father looked at each other, then back at the heroes.

"So...he's been protecting the whole city? All this time? A lot has happened since that day in the hospital."

"Wonder if Stevie knows about this?"

The middle aged Hispanic man nodded. "So...now that we know who and what you are...how will you protect us? Should we change our routines? I'll admit...the protection thing is kind of new, we've never needed it in this neighborhood."

  Clarissa shook her head, and said "Do your normal things.  Ozzy's going to make each of you a 'paint golem' to keep an eye on you and let us know if you run into trouble."

Ozzy nodded, "Right. Small ones to follow you during the day, just in case. And, at night, if you'll let me place them, larger ones to sort of meld into the walls and guard you while you sleep. I just don't want to take any chances. If we make any big, huge changes, Lucas' enemies might smell fear or a challenge and then make a point of attacking. So we have to try to be subtle. I just wish I wasn't so big now, it makes it seem a bit futile."

Gerardo nodded.

"Well...I'm thankful that you all are here...and I'm grateful that our son still looks out for us, even if he is also looking out for the whole city."

Ozzy smiled, "Yup. And while hes recuperating, weve got his back. Now, when I get done here, do you know where we can find his brother? We didnt ask, and hes probably asleep by now, if I know the friends who are watching him."

"You can find him at the police station, if he's not working on a case," Gerardo replied. "Look...um...we never bothered to thank you for going through all this trouble just to keep us safe. Mil Gracias..."

Ozzy grinned and said, "De nada. Lucas taught me a lot, so I owe him."

With that, he started to cast the spells to shape the constructs to watch over them, and follow them or find them just in case.

  Clarissa smiled, and laid her hand lightly on Ozzy's back, feeding him as much power as he wanted to fuel the spells, since she had it in spades.

Ozzy's paint golems soon sprang into existence, and were now able to take subtle positions of protection around the Martinez house.

"If you see Lucas...tell him his family is thinking of him. And thanks again for your help.." Gerardo told Ozzy and Clarissa.

Ozzy smiled and said, "Happy to help. And I'll make sure to tell him that. Well, I'll go hunting Stevie now, see if I can't set him up with at least a watcher. Have a good one."

With that, he turned to leave, keeping his eyes peeled just in case.

  Clarissa waved to them, and caught Ozzy's hand, walking with him, her tail swishing back and forth as she walked.  She whispered mentally to him {{Want to carry me, or want me to use my own wings, love?  You know me, I'm lazy and prefer to cuddle against your chest.}}

Ozzy grinned and picked her up, holding her close as he took off, thinking, {{Love, you know I love carrying you. And besides, it's faster this way. You'd be being lazy if you could go as fast as I can, and just didn't want to.}}

  She hugged him, and admitted softly {{Yeah, I just don't have as much wing as you do, so I can't go as fast.  But I DO love being cuddled and held close.  Not to mention I feel incredibly sexy when you cuddle me this way.}}  He could feel her soft purr as she tucked her head into the nook of his shoulder, her favorite place, and flattened her wings to make them minimally wind resistant while he was doing the flying.

Ozzy flew off towards the Police Department, hugging his wife close to his chest as he did.

  She kissed his throat, and said softly "Only to you!  And maybe another anime nerd, but I don't care if anyone OTHER than you thinks so.  I'm just happy YOU think I'm sexy, my big sexy green stud!"

Ozzy smirked and replied, "I'm just glad you like big, green, winged pseudo-demons. Otherwise I'd have been S.O.L. Because I really don't want anyone else."

Fiona's eyes blinked open, and she slowly turned her head to take in her new surroundings. She felt slightly dizzy and disoriented from the teleporting; flying was still her preferred method of travel, she decided. "Guys? Where are we?" she whispered.

The heroes appeared on the front lawn of an average looking suburban home. There was some kind of activity going on inside.

"Looks like things are about to hit the fan," Icepick said as his hands glowed with cold energy.

  Candy grinned, and said "Things should heat up and chill out here soon."

"So whats the plan here? We need to move fast before they notice the crowd of superheroes on the lawn.

"Leave that to me...this will give us time to at least case the place.." Victoria said, chanting in ancient eldritch tones, causing all of them to appear invisible to everyone else, but still visible to the select group of heroes.

  Andy smiled, revealing his sharklike teeth, just before he seemed to fade into smoke that vanished.  {{We see who is here and make sure nobody leaves through the back door.}}
