Re: Weston Museum
The Not-So-Expensive suit guy looks incredulously at Mittens when she makes the suggestion that he could join in the fighting. "What?! Fight mummies? Me?! Those are priceless remains! Do you know what damaging them could cost us..." Before he could complete the sentence, his eyes widened as a fleeing patron knocked into a display stand holding a 5ft tall intricately carved stone statue. The statue teetered precariously before slowly falling off.
The guy in the suit, with a speed that would not seem natural given his appearance, rushed over and managed to slide his body between the falling statue and the floor, saving the item with a painful 'woof' of breath. "Stop breaking the collection you antiquities heathens!" he shouted, shaking a fist briefly at the back of a fleeing person.
Daystar managed to lever the mummy off of Wilkes, but the creature was surprisingly strong, given the atrophied nature of its musculature. Both ended up on their knees, with the mummy trying to punch at Daystar with its free hand. The clumsy attempt was cut short when Matts head tail takes off the arm. The mummy had time to look over at Matt before Seraphs flaming sword severed its head. The undead creature twitched a few times and then lay still.
Lifelight used her powers to give the guard named Wilkes some healing. The mummy inflicted bruises faded away and the guard raised herself up on her elbows. She gave Lifelight a relieved smile. "...thanks...I thought that I was a goner for a minute there." Her received expression suddenly darkened and she sat up quickly. "The others! We have save them from...whoa...is that...Dragonfist?"
The other guard, Williams, ran up to Wilkes and Lifelight. He still had his weapon drawn. "Fangirl later. We need to...Oh man. There really were attacking mummies..." The mans eyes had shifted from Wilkes and Lifelight to the interior of the Egyptian exhibit.
The interior of the exhibition hall is a mess, looking very much like a tornado had blown through the room. Many of the exhibit cases that were not against the walls had been knocked over, their contents spilling onto the floor. Injured patrons litter the floor, some still moving while others lay deathly still. Some were still fighting mummies. One womans scream was cut short as a mummy punched her in the stomach. Another man tried to call out for help but he was having trouble concentrating with the 3 mummified cats attacking him. Museum guards can be seen in the mix, a few still standing but barely.
The heroes could see at least 16 or so human mummies. There were some other animal mummies, mostly cats, but the way that they were running around was making counting them hard. Then there was the mummified bull. It raised its head at the heroes standing in the entrance, gave an odd sounding snort, and then charged at them.
