Re: Update
I forgot one of the king's titles, that now has been added in the first post in the Summoned by the King thread. That title is "Keeper of the Lost Tomb." I also forgot about the royal we, so I've edited what the king has said so that he has used "we" instead of "I."

I have also updated the Heads Up thread to include what the cost of staying at an inn includes.

Re: Update
Having looked into the Moon Magic advantage a little bit more, I have changed the cost and prerequisite for it. I'm still talking to a few people about it, but this is where I have it right now.

Re: Update
I've decided to give each character an additional 5 points to spend on Area Knowledge. These should have been there from the beginning, but I made a mistake, so you get some bonus points now instead. Four of the points have already been assigned, but the fifth is free for you to assign to any place you lived in before you moved to Kalaman. Please update your character sheets and let me know what area you pick for the fifht skill point.

Iíve updated the Skills post of the House Rules thread with what you need to know to add these points to your character sheets. If there are any questions, please post in the OOC thread or PM me.

Re: Update
I've made a Comparative Character Chart. Read more about it and look at the chart there. I cannot overemphasize that the chart is showing peak numbers and that just because a certain hero has the highest rating, doesnít necessarily mean that heís the best choice for doing everything in that category, especially if thereís a minus (-). But it is likely a good place to start, unless the hero says otherwise.

The heroes themselves don't have this information at this point though.

Re: Update
I've finally gotten around to updating the value of $1 in local currency. GURPS uses the cost of one loaf of bread as the value of $1, which I didn't know/remember at the time I set the conversion rate. But I have decided to follow this praxis for the sake of consistency. This will only affect how much local currency you have, as things are still priced in $, and as the local currency just got 5 times more valuable, you can carry more $ without encumbrance penalties.

I hope this will not inconvenience you too much. As an upside, the cash portion of the loot in Lyceum is set in local currency, so that value just quintupled.

Re: Update
I updated the last post in the House Rules thread with a note on steel to avoid the melt your weapons to get more cash fallacy that has occurred because of the conversion of cost and value between the two systems.

Re: Update
I want to use the rules in the Basic Set as much as possible, but I've decided that the rules on staying at an inn makes doing so too expensive. So I've updated the post in the Heads up thread with the new rule. This means that it's now only 2-3 times as expensive to live in an inn as opposed to double that with the GURPS rules.

Re: Update
I noticed that I've listed the weight of money incorrectly. I have now updated their weight to 0.02 lbs per coin or 50 coins per lb.
