Re: OOC

I was kinda waiting on a response from someone before posting again.
How do we rejoin the others?

Re: OOC

I figured as much. Grettanah is the only one not with the rest of the group, I believe. So you would have to find her IC. I know where both groups are, so I'll let you know when that happens.

On stone floors, you track at -6. So you failed the roll D'aden.

I was playing out his 'Overconfidence' disadvantage. Figured I had to, sooner or later.

Re: OOC

Playing your disadvantages is great.

The reason I posed, was that in this case Tracking wouldn't have given D'aden enough info to point in any given direction and I wanted to point the modifier out to anyone else that might want to try tracking on stone.

In retrospect I could have done that better, as D'aden could have pointed in any direction he wanted, even without any input from Tracking.

Grettanah have you seen the posts so that Roisin's recap if sufficient for you, or do you need more information?

We haven't found any unknown door yet. The last door I know we were at was the door you entered to get into the maze. I'm trying to figure out where Grettanah wants to go.

She intended to follow whatever wall on her left that is available, until they came to a door they haven't came across.

And we're talking about there not being any walls in PM, but pillars and intersecting corridors.

C
D

H
I
J

Each grid = 10'
o = column
] = Door into maze
grey = wall beside the door or columns

is there a Wall on the left and right of the door

Re: OOC

It looks more like this. Where the door at g02 leads to a room that should have a wall in the 01 column, at least in the e, f, and h spaces and a room in the 00 column, and to the left of it, at least in the e-g spaces. But standing on the maze side of the door, there is no wall nor a room in those spaces.

Interesting so we were transported to an different area of the complex. Eek this is generally something Grettanah doesn't particularly like, because she ends up somewhere that she doesn't know where they are, geographically.

I'm afraid I as a player can't make heads or tails of the whole transposition thing.

I'm fairly sure Roisin would be aware of where we are.

Re: OOC

If trying to figure out the transposition thing doesn't work, you could try to explore the place as if it was a normal maze.

Re: OOC

The group has explored everywhere, except the corridors. There are the three doors they haven't figured out how to open. But other than that, the corridors is all that is left, as far as the group knows.

Re: OOC

If you want to explore the corridors, please be more specific. Just saying explore what we haven't explored already is just about everything. I at least need a direction to go on. And whether you stay together or spread out as you explore.

Re: OOC

Sorry, boss, I'm completely lost (a consequence of my being AWOL for the past few months).

So we're at the door that leads to the magical corridors, right?  Can we try to map the corridors and see what sense we can make of them?  Do we have a current map of where we've been so far and what doors/hallways we've found that haven't been explored yet?

Re: OOC

If the group wants a map of the corridors, a character AND a player has to map the area. I know that Grettanah, as a character, is mapping. But I am uncertain if there is any player who is making a map.

Re: OOC

If you cannot decide where you want to go, I could roll a random direction for you and we can see what you find. It may be less effective than a systematic search, but it may still give you some results.

Re: OOC

I suggest we return to the room with the three doors allowing time for Roisin attempt a solution that would provide access to the adjacent rooms. If she can't they may need to contend themselves with making a hole in the wall.
