OOC

The first IC post has been made. Though there's only three players so far, I figured we might as well get things started and leave the door open for more players as we go forward.

Re: OOC

Did anyone do anything fun for the holiday?

Anyway, just wanted to say, I'm looking forward to playing with all of you!

Re: OOC

Aye, the same here!  I'm a complete Dragonlance tyro, so you guys will probably have to call me on some things.

As for New Years, I spent it with family.  Not exciting, but definitely fun.  =)

Re: OOC

I don't know the setting at all, so hopefully Ourana and our GM can call us both on these things!

Re: OOC

I thought Oruna was ready to go, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I got my last PM on Sunday and replied on Monday, as I'm not online on Sundays.

I was planning on waiting so that I could move all three forward at the same time, the meeting with the king won't take place until all three are ready. But I can still do their interaction with the gurads.

I'll have an IC update in a little bit.

Re: OOC

I think players get scared off sometimes by higher point games.  It would bear bumping the game ad at some point in the hopes of attracting more players.

Regardless, I'm fine with waiting for Oruna, but hopefully we won't have to wait too long.  =)

Re: OOC

Well, if the scene is that a bunch of knights are out rounding us all up, we might just arrive at different times...  Olven and Nana might end up waiting for their audience with the king and have a chance to talk a bit while waiting for Ourana.

Re: OOC

That is true. We can easily add a "waiting room." Thanks for pointing that out.

Hey, Ourana, how close are you to character completion?

Re: OOC

If we get bored of bantering we could always break into a cool fight scene to see who is the most ass-kicking warrior.

Re: OOC

I think we should have a slow-mo guitar rock-off!  Or maybe Olven can run up the wall, and Nana can do a spinning tornado kick.

Re: OOC

Oh, neat, is that like that Street Fighter move where they jump into the air and fly like a helicopter with their leg.

Re: OOC

As the group doesn't have a healer, what do you think about having an NPC cleric join the team?

Re: OOC

Depends on the necessity of one, I suppose.  We all have first aid...  Assuming that adventures will be episodic and we are acquiring the king as a Patron, it might provide for an interesting, gritty feel to have to patch up our injuries and make our way through before returning to the city for magical healing.

Edit: Or if we might find magical healing in towns or have access to some healing potions...

Re: OOC

Magical healing is accessible in Kalaman.
Healing potions cost $120 or $350 each and heal 1d or 2d HP.
If magical healing is available where you are going, you'll likely only know for sure when you get there.
