I'm going to be away for three weeks over the holidays. Unfortunately I couldn't get any books with me.

This means I don't have a map for the rest of the Lyeum with me, but we should be able to finish this combat even without books or maps.

Just to let people know I will have access to a computer over Christmas but will have no access from 29th Dec to 4th Jan.  I will post when I can and do my best to keep up.

Also, in case I don't get the opportunity to say this later, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

There's a high chance I might not be posting much for the holidays, starting today, ending around the 27th.

My life is so regimentally mundane that not even the year's ultimate holiday season can disrupt my schedule.

There's an update for the anti-virus my buddy uses. I'm not sure which brand, but it talks and tells you when there's updates or threats or needs attention. The update makes it talk like a pirate... ;)

I think you're talking about Avast, right?  Great name.  =)

Probably, I have no clue. I just heard it say things like, "Arr, there be scalawags on the port bow," which means something like, "Do you want to run this program?"

I told him the pirate talk is cool, but I would've disabled the voice a long, long, time ago, like when buying the program ITFP before I even got it out of the box... Updating it to pirate wouldn't help much when it's turned off. ;)

Dragondog - sorry I haven't been able to post for several days.  I was hoping to be able to post over the Christmas period but that hasn't happened.  I'm about to be completely unable to post until 4th Jan but I will be back and fully able to post then.

I will be on vacation with uncertain Internet connectivity until Wednesday.

I'm going to be at a conference Sept 25th till Sept 30th.
