D'aden wasn't involved in the elemental water thing and knows nothing of the icon of truth. He'll busily repair and replace anything he needs to repair and replace, then explore nearby water sources in an attempt to beat his own personal best as far as size of fish landed. Being who he is, he'll attempt to drag Roisin and Olven with him on these local expeditions; I expect nothing.

There are a few things he would attempt to acquire
• a scabbard for his new sword
• a horse with tack (although I don't much care if he's abrupt and rude)
• lute strings (you never know when that Josie gal is gonna come up with a marvelous device made possible by lute strings)

The baron's place is about a day's travel on horseback to the west.

As you may already have seen, the main thread is a little quiet right now as the audience with the King is over and they are preparing for the next step. But feel free to post your reactions there and PM me about what you want to do during the month of "downtime" you have and any new gear or mounts or other things you'd like to add to your character sheet.

WHich reminds me, I haven't given you CP for the last part in the Lyceum. Let me get back to you on that.

I'm not sure what of the treasure belongs to us and what belongs to the king. I know we were initially sent to the Lyceum to bring back funds to rebuild Kalaman. I'm not sure what you guys have divvied up yet and what goes to the king, but Olven will suggest giving the lion's share of the gold and gems to Kalaman, since that's what we were sent to do.

Olven will suggest that Roisin and Olven return the elemental water to the dwarven cleric. He will make excuses in order not to accompany them.

For Olven's share of the treasure, he will invest in some clothing befitting his new status (an unexpected and thoroughly undeserved gift), a horse (ideally trained for war with bit, bridle, bandings, and the rest). Whatever other money he has, he will invest in his barony - hiring staff (guards, a seneschal, a housekeeper, a cook). If there's anything else, he'd like to invest it in the barony itself to build it up - perhaps he can invest in some kind of industry, agriculture, or commercial endeavors.

The others have basically said that they will keep only what already is listed in the first post of the Treasure thread.

As far as your barony, the King will provide a lot of money to set it up. There's more about that in the PM.

He'll take Status 3 and donate the rest of the money to Kalaman's rebuilding efforts.

No, no, I haven't been properly trained to be a personal male attendant.

We know that A magic scroll, the black hooded cloak D'aden is wearing, the Wizard's Amulet (connected to the Guardian), bracers, cloak, 2 potions, small knife, one foot tube of hardened black silver, and the Dragonhighlord's armor are magical.

I didn't find any post trying to figure out in what way. You have time and money to do that now if you like.

I have one question. When you leave, are you going by land or by sea? That choice will determine which place you visit first. Land = Baron and Sea = Palanthus.

D'aden votes for two lights, as well. It's been awhile since he was shipboard, so he wants to refresh his skills. Has he mentioned to anyone that he used to be a sailor?

I'm glad to hear it's soon up and running again. I know all too well how disruptive a dead PC can be.
