Re: Chapter 11.3 Ladies of the Evening
Vincent growls. "We are trying not to be seen. How long were you in that coffin? Long enough for your friends to look over your body and be sure, I'll wager. I don't care how persuasive you are, you don't just talk your way out of a grave."
Wildcat and Charing Bear stalk off, while Evans takes a stand near the ruins.
"Oh, bloody Hell!" Vincent growls again, and moves deeper into the shadows. He turns to Robert once more. "Look, wanker, let me be excruciatingly clear. You are one of us now. You cannot go back. If you try, they will only kill you because of the monster you are. Or they will try to 'make you better' and that's worse, because your true nature will eventually surface and you'll find yourself standing amid the corpses of all you used to love...corpse made by your own hand. You're a predator, mate, and they are the prey. You can't make them understand, and they would only kill you for it."
"And worse that that, is that you'd lead them right to the rest of us. And if you think for one goddamn moment I would let you just walk over there and put me and mine in danger, then maybe I should just stake you now and get it over with. Don't think any tricks you've picked up when crossing over will help you if I decide you're better off dead. You're just a fledgling childe. I've had decades more experience. I will tear you to tiny pieces, toss the pieces in a fire, then piss on the ashes. Do we have an understanding?"
((OOC: As you rolled a 1 on the Persuasion die, the sunlight penalties don't really matter in this case...Vincent's already-low opinion of Robert automatically sinks like a stone, from Uncooperative to Hostile.
Vincent is attempting an Intimidate Test Of Wills to cow Robert. 23:04, Today: Vincent Kaje rolled 5,17 using d8+2,d6+2, rerolling max with rolls of 3,(6+6+3)15. Intimidate. Looks like 17 is the number to beat.))
