ARMD-07 possesses four squadrons of Valkyrie-series Veritech Fighters, trading away the standard five squadrons of QF-3000 Ghost Drones to make room for them. While this is an unusual setup for Armor Carriers, UEF has allowed it since the arrival of the Zentraedi poses a serious threat to all mankind.



VF-1A in (Standard) Echo Squadron Colors

ECHO SQUADRON - The boys and girls of Echo Squadron are the backbone of Orbital Carrier Group Two (OCG2) and the heart and soul of ARMD-07. While not possessing the storied history of, say, Skull Squadron, they are still a much respected and valued Squadron. Lieutenant Commander Vance Hardy leads this squadron, which has rapidly gained a reputation as the fiercest fighter group in OCG2.

VF-1A in (Standard) Raven Combined Arms Team Colors

RAVEN COMBINED ARMS TEAM - Raven C.A.T. is a recent addition to the Ranger's fighter complement. Due to the damage inflicted on the Ranger during Operation Damocles, Captain Wilson elected to create a 'Home Guard' whose sole purpose was to remain near the Carrier in the event that the aliens attempted to disable, capture, or destroy the ship. As opposed to flying active combat duty, Raven Team spreads itself across the Carrier's hull and defend the ship. SCPO Lucas Bixby, in his role as Senior EWO of OCG2, has been given command of Raven.

In an effort to provide maximized protection of the Carrier, Raven operates as a Combined Arms and Tactics Team - incorporating Veritechs, Destroids, and SF-3A Lancer IIs into its operational doctrine.

FOX SQUADRON - Fox Squadron is the Ranger's auxiliary combat squadron, they are called upon to augment Echo Squadron's numbers in heavy combat missions. These guys have a good-natured rivalry with Echo Squadron, since its Leader, Lieutenant "Dutch" Abernathy is the former pilot of Echo Squadron's VEF-1 EWAR Fighter before the invention of the prototype VEF-2X.

REVOLT SQUADRON - Members of Revolt Squadron are the rookies of the Ranger's complement. For the most part, Revolt Squadron flies active support to either Echo or Fox Squadrons. From time to time, a rookie may distinguish himself/herself in battle and is called up to join one of the veteran squadrons.
