To all starships near the Organian Neutral Zone: long-range sensors have detected a sizeable Klingon fleet approaching the Helius system at high warp. While Helius is technically on the outermost edge of Klingon space, we have intercepted messages that indicate they wish to secede from the Empire. Since Helius is both mineral-rich and strategically located, its loss would severely impact the Klingon Empire.

We do not want to alarm the Klingons by sending a starship into their space, however Starfleet Intelligence believes this to be the perfect opportunity to liberate the Helians, whom the Klingons keep as a slave race.

Captains, please acknowledge if you or any of your crew can be of assistance in this delicate mission.
