The Kingdom of Amanrun
The high court is no place for the weak. In the Kingdom of Amanrun choices have to be made that can change the course for the whole Council of Kings. Sitting at the far north lands, bordered on the west by the Dark Sea, and the North by the lands of the Wolven, they hold the line against the invading forces that seek the other Kingdoms of Man.
The King of Amanrun, Desmond, is a strong man, a general who has seen the worst of times in the last war when the Litch Yeswyth. That was over twenty years ago, and for the last generation they have known peace in the lands with only minor skirmishes to the north with the Wolven clans, and no incursions from the Orcs by the Dark Sea.
A new generation is rising to power, what will they do with the Kingdom, who will take the seat of the King, and will the Kingdom remain strong?

OOC- Amanrun is a fictional kingdom set in the 1200-1300 AD period of Earth. It is a hybrid mix of the Feudal age in both the east and west world. The world practices a polytheism based on 9 gods who sit in the heavens and protect from the dark forces of the Abyss. Magic is considers a forbidden skill and taught mostly in secret as it is considered a pathway for the evil to enter the world.
Gender roles for the time period are also enforced, with females have a bit more latitude then historically. Females can gain rank and rule with a consort, if he is of lower status. Females do not enter the warrior arts unless they are taking an oath of celibacy. If they do have children, they are not permitted to see them or raise them as it is assumed it was because of rape.
Players can either take the role of one of the created members of court, or create a lesser member of the court. This game will focus on social combat that will happen in the court as well as the external threats to the kingdom. This is a game focusing on player driven concepts so the characters should have ambitions, needs and goals. The game will use a system known as the Saga, Circle, and Guide. This is a new system we are experimenting with so there may be some edits to the game.
