Hello, I am looking for two replacement homestuck players. Specifically, I would like someone to play a human mage of light and a human page of life, although you can switch the classes around and you might be able to convince our thief of mind or maid of hope to trade class or aspect or both with you. If you read the comic and are looking for an RP and these titles mean basically nothing to you then that’s fine, and not at all surprising, I’ll discuss them with you and you can decide if they are something you’re interested in.

I am running a twelve-player session (including the replacements) that is done primarily in docs on google drive. Two of our players have been inactive for pretty much the entire game and recently dropped out. If you join I will work together with you to help create your new characters and tie your backstory in with the existing characters and figure out what your classpect means in the context of the game. I like to be as true to the lore in the comic as I can, but there is lots of room for our own interpretations.

The system itself is BESM 3rd edition with a large amount of house rules. You don’t need to know the system. I have a write up of the rules that are relevant to the game. That you will be able to see when you enter. The game plays out in scenes with each one taking about a few hours in real time, often spread over a week, but if you coordinate with other players it will be in a single afternoon. To play this game, you should be able to dedicate at least one hour of your time a week, but it is designed so that you can have extended down time if you need to. Just don’t spend more weeks inactive than active.

The session itself is made of six alternian trolls and six earth 1 humans. In the future, you will (probably) be able to play as your dancestor and will have a good deal more freedom on your classpect with them. The session is assumed to occur in the same universes as the comic, meaning the same historical earth and alternian events.

Out of character chat takes place on a discord server and the players are all quite friendly. If you ask to join please have read up to at least the end of Act 5 so that you can have a general understanding of the setting. If you’re a new reader and just positively thrilled about the setting and you just need to join an RP (hey it happens) then we can work something out, but for spoiler purposes there is certain point on the comic you should reach before you join.

One thing that is different in this game than most RPs I have played in or run is that we talk openly about our desired character arcs and I as a GM do my best to facilitate you fulfilling that arc.
