The Jedi and the Republic were growing, as they had for millennia. From Coruscant and the Core Worlds to the wilder Outer Rim territories, the galaxy was at peace.

Then everything changed.

At the farthest reaches of the Outer Rim, behind the sheltering nebulosity of the Stygian Caldera, the Sith Empire grew under the aegis of the great Marka Ragnos. When a pair of sibling adventurers from the Republic landed on Korriban on the eve of Ragnos’ funeral, the Sith learned of the long-forgotten Jedi and the Republic, and hungered for the ripe worlds beyond the confines of the Caldera.

Now Naga Sadow, having vanquished his rival Ludo Kressh, has declared himself Dark Lord of the Sith and turned his eye on the Republic. And the Republic, having forgotten the Great Schism that sent the Dark Jedi into their exile on Korriban, is unaware of the looming threat. The Great Hyperspace War is about to begin.
