The translucent grainy image of Master Quilon Vos shimmered to life in the center of the Jedi Council Chambers. The holoprojection lent a staticy, robotic tone to his already deep baritone tenor as he spoke.

“I think I have found it, Master Yoda.” Even the distortion of traveling billions of light years could not mask the excitement in his voice. “I have not yet made planet fall, but it matched the scriptures perfectly. And I can feel the force radiating from it.” He pause letting the information sink in. “I have found Tython.”

“Certain of this you are?” The diminutive, green skinned Yoda asked his fellow Jedi.

“Yes, Master Yoda. I have no doubts that once I reach the surface. I will be the first Jedi in over a millennia to step foot on our home world.”

“How soon until you reach the planet?” Master Plo Koon leaned forward looking quite intimidating with his gas mask and eye shields.

“The shuttle is prepped and awaiting my order to disembark. It should only take a few standard hours to reach the surface.”

Master Mace Windu rubbed his fingers over his rugged chin. He glanced at Master Yoda who nodded ever so slightly. “Very well Master Voss. Your orders are to proceed planet side, and await further instructions. We have another ship in route with an expeditionary team. It’s not very large, what with us being spread so thin these days, but it should suffice for now.”

“Understood Master. May the Force be with you.” The holoprojection winked out of existence.

“Do you really think it is Tyhon?” Master Ki Adi Mundi asked his fellow masters. “After all this time?”

<Goldenrod>“Let us hope so,” Master Windu answered. “And more importantly let it hold the answers to saving the galaxy from this near certain doom that lingers over it.”</Goldenrod>

Welcome to Star Wars: Forlorn Destiny. This is a WEG D6 that will initially begin during the time of the Clone Wars. For over a century the Jedi have been sending out expeditionary teams far and wide in search of the Jedi Home world of Tython. Even spread as thin as they are during this tumultuous time, they have continued to send out a few of their best Jedi scouts and explorers. And now with Galaxy embroiled in a deadly war, it looks like they have finally found it.

The PCs will play the part of a Jedi Padawan sent to accompany their master as part of a team of sent to Tython to explore the planet and the ruins in search of valuable Jedi Relics and anything else that they might offer.
Characters will be creating using the standard creation rules with the following changes:

Youth: Each Padawan shall be between the ages of sixteen – Twenty.
Because they are still growing the characters receive only 16 dice to distribute among their abilities instead of the usual 18. After a year of in game time – assuming the game is a success and lasts that long- you will receive the remaining 2D to assign to your abilities.

Characters begin play with only 12D worth of skills. This is to represent the fact that they are still Padawan’s in training and not yet reached adulthood. However, extra CP will be awarded at various points during the story to be spent on learning new skills or increasing skills. These points may only be used on skills that you have used or attempted to use untrained during the course of the story. So for example you could not increase Starfighter Piloting unless you somehow managed to fly a starship during the story.

Students of the Force: As Padawan’s you have been studying the Force for as long as you remember. Each character receives 2D+2 to distribute among the three Force Abilities (Control, Sense, Alter.) They may then learn up to 5 Force Powers (1 power per pip spent in C/S/A).

Each Padawan receives a Training lightsaber. These lightsabers function as normal, but only deal 3D damage instead of 5D.

When submitting your RTJ please provide a brief bio of your characters training and how they interact with their master. I will use this info to create the NPC for your Master so the more detail I get the more your master will feel like the one you envisioned. Your master will not be a canon character –no Yoda, Mace etc.
