Running a game live starting next Sunday at 4pm est and every other Sunday after that at 4pm.


   It will be an ongoing campaign set in the world of Krynn just before the events of the War of the Lance. Players will be part of an alternate reality where something has changed the timeline slightly. Players have a chance to forge a new history of post cataclysm Krynn. Astinus' pen awaits!

3.5 Dungeons and Dragons. Pathfinder is accepted for making your character, but spells are extremely limited. Accepting characters made up of the base classes including classes from the Dragonlance Sourcebook. Kender, Minotaur, Qualinesti elf, Silvinesti elf, tinker gnome or forest gnome are all acceptable races. No halflings or half orcs. Hobgoblin could be considered. There are no drow on Krynn or below. Psionics are extremely, extremely rare on Krynn and only considered with an extremely good back story of how you got your powers, sticking within the Krynn theme.

Starting level 3. Knights of Solomnia, White, Red, or black Wizards of High Sorcery, Fighter, Mercenary, renegade sorcerer, Minotaur barbarian are all acceptable. You will start with one magic item, power depending on class and affiliation. Wizards of High Sorcery who complete their tests will receive a powerful item.

Currency is measured in Steel Pieces (ST) in place of gold. This is due to the turmoil after the cataclysm when Steel became the most valuable commodity. This was due to the outbreak of war between the races and people of Krynn. Human against elf, Dwarf against dwarf, the people against the Knights of Solomnia, who they blamed the cataclysm on.

I would like to get characters that can fill the roles of the Heroes of the Lance. If you know the story then no metagaming, and the story may be a bit different depending on the players actions. People who haven`t read the Dragonlance Chronically, this is a really good opportunity to learn about the world of Krynn and the story of how it was besieged by the Queen of Darkness, the five headed dragon god Tahkisis.

is that the intention?

This is just a weird game ad, the title says 3.5 D&D, the game name says GoT, and the system described in the Players Wanted page says Star Wars WEG.

They are advertising a *live* game - probably run over Skype or similar voice/chat program where everyone logs in and attends a fortnightly session like it was a real life in person gaming session. This occurs every second Sunday, at 4pm EST (Either Eastern Standard Time (EST), UTC -5 timezone or possibly they meant Australian Eastern Standard Time, UTC +10).

I understand that part, but the rest of it is confusing to me
