You have been brought on to work for the worst team in the league. These are the big leagues where everything you encounter is lethal, ready to rip you limb from limb. This is where the real studs of the crawls make a name for themselves and become legends. It's a new year and a lot of new faces, because most of what was left from last years team is splattered all over the walls of their failed crawls.
No matter the outcome from last year your goal is the same, win the crawl and go home with the gold. The crowd is bloodthirsty, the weapons are real and the monsters are hungry! The light on the door turns green and a large hobgoblin in a black XDCL Jacket wrenches the door open. The smell of blood sweat and death fills your nostrils...Welcome to the Crawls!

It's a modern world but all modern amenities come from arcane magic and arcane infused devices so it will have a decidedly old school fantasy vibe especially the dungeons themselves. For those unfamiliar Xcrawl is a game where dungeon crawling has become a professional sport, a very lethal professional sport that is wildly popular. You would be one of these dungeon crawlers.
