A hero has liberated the River Kingdom Pitax from the insane dictator Irovetti. Through a series of adventures he and his companions have liberated the city and are in the process of converting it into a bastion of good and law in the otherwise lawless lands. Unfortunately the necessity of politics has made him have to cut deals with many of the city's undesirables who profited under Irovetti.

To make matters worse the hero of Pitax seems to have little desire to rule and instead keeps leaving his kingdom for excitement and adventure leaving the Queen of Pitax to try and hold together their fledgling kingdom in his place.

You are the Queen of Pitax, recently crowned. Although the citzenry pays heavy lip services to how glorious Pitax will become under new rulership, beneath the surface plots and schemes are forming and thickening and the neighboring regions are eyeing Pitax's lands like fresh meat on the market.

YOU get to decide how you want to try and rule Pitax.
YOU get to decide your relationship with the King's allies and enemies.
YOU get to set the level, pace, tone, goals and objectives for your city.

I had a player and she was great but unfortunately IRL difficulties dragged her away from rPoL. I've left the original threads open so that you could see an example of how a vigilante style game might play out.

I'm not looking to have a player pick up the existing story and PC (although you can if you find it interesting). I am fine with a hard restart with a new character, a new storyline and a new direction.
