There's a secret task force within the Chicago Police Department made up of detectives and patrol officers from different divisions. Most of the time these individuals perform their normal duties, work on normal cases, and live normal lives.

Every so often, though, a case comes along that's well outside the pale. Something dealing with matters the city cannot understand - something the city cannot acknowledge - the task force is assembled to deal with it, any way they can.

Crimes Against Reality is an investigative horror Fate Accelerated game about cops dealing with menaces that no training can have prepared them for. Players will find themselves transferred to this unnamed Task Force and expected to handle cases that the brass won't admit even exist, while maintaining their careers and personal lives.

Hey I just learned the Fate Core system and am looking to experience more then the one session my GM has managed so far, is fate accelerated fairly similar to fate core?
