The warmer months always meant that the town of Alverton was more heavily populated than normal. On this day, however, Market Place was particularly busy, with merchants calling to sell their wares, and people crowding the stalls. As the heat of the day came upon the town, the crowds started to thin out, seeking shelter from the sun.

As the crowds reached almost their thinnest, a scream rang out across Market Place. Two members of the town constabulary fell to the ground, their throats slit. A fireball streaked across the marketplace, incinerating another constable.

In a town that rarely had any need for a military presence, a surprise attack in the middle of a summer's day meant that there was no preparation. The marauders had no symbols or signs on their armour that suggested they came from a particular government or nation, but they began rounding up the people who were still in the square.

Everything turned to chaos...

Kelara is a homebrew world of my creation, and this is the second story thread that will be undertaken. We are looking for 3-5 characters to undertake a long-term campaign that will take you across the various lands that this world has to offer.
