Monsters exist.  Giant monsters exists.  Deep in the oceans, in deep caves, in hard to reach places, in the last remaining blank spots of the map hide Kong, Godzilla, Muto, Shinomura...

Out there, there are hidden places and lost worlds where extinct species are not so extinct, ancient myths are neither ancient nor myth... they will not stay hidden for much longer.  And with advent of the Atom ancient creatures stir in their slumber.

You are the agent of Project Monarch, secret multi-government project created to find, study and contain threat of Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms.  You are humanity's first and last line of defense.

The game is based on two recent "giant monster" movies: 2014 Godzilla and Kong: The Skull Island.  For further inspiration I use Pacific Rim and earlier Godzilla and Kong movies.  The settings are late 1970s, after the events of Skull Island.

The system is still to be decided but at the moment "Resolute, Adventurer, Genius" is a favorite ( http://www.stargazergames.eu/g...e-adventurer-genius/ )
