The Last Outpost - Underdark Campaign

D&D 5e game with an Underdark/Dwarf focus looking to recruit four to six 1st level characters.  There will be an overarching plot, but also chances to get involved in rebuilding a settlement, forging alliances, dealing with internal strife, and uncovering conspiracies.  There are some racial restrictions due to the nature of the story, so be sure to check those out in the main game.  Here's a intro to the game's story:

Deepholme - a small dwarf outpost established deep in the Underdark many miles away from the safety of Goldaxe Hall - stands alone.

For nearly two hundred years the isolated settlement has been the first line of defense against the dark elves, grey dwarfs, and other Underdark denizens that threatened Goldaxe Hall.  One hundred dwarf men and women were stationed here at all times - ready to fight to the death and send word of impending invasion to Goldaxe Hall at a moment's notice.

For centuries Deepholme stood fast - many dwarfs fighting and falling but never letting a single non-dwarf pass through to Deepholme.  But that all changed when a band of grey dwarf assassins infiltrated the outpost - opening the gates and allowing a small force of grey dwarf warriors into the outpost.

Fearing all was lost - the order was given to collapse the tunnel that led back to Deepholme - trapping the defenders in the Underdark.  Knowing that they had no choice but to fight - the dwarfs fought harder than they ever had in their lives - finally forcing their evil brethren out of the settlement.  But the cost of victory had been steep - half of the dwarfs lay dead and their only path home was now blocked with hundreds of tons of rubble.

With only fifty dwarfs left, their mission has changed.  They had to survive at any cost and discover a way back home.  To do so they'll need to find sources of food and water as well as establish unlikely alliances with their neighbors in the Underdark.  The future of Deepholme rests on the shoulders of a select few now...
