Whos side will you choose? Vikings or English?
Vikings Are Coming
This game is set in two locations, and you get to choose which side you're on.
The Vikings:
The Viking village is made of a small community of Norse men, on the shores of the ocean. For many years this small village lived alone, growing slowly but steadily.
The community is led by the Earl, who owns ships and cattle and swords, but is just and fair in his judgment. Next to his political leadership, stands Ivar, their spiritual leader, who can speak to the Gods.
Last summer, Ivar told the Earl that the Gods have spoken. They wont raid the north any longer. This year, the raid will go west.
In a few days time a wedding is about to take place, after which all warriors will board the ships and follow their gods into the new land, in the East.
The English
A small English settlement has lived its life between the mountains and close to the sea. They are a few days ride away from the closest monastery and their king is far away. They live a simple life of labor, drinks and music, and are rarely called by their king to go to war.
They are led by the local priest and by their own leader, whom they chose themselves. They both work together for a good, equal community, where everyone gives their share in both physical work and God's work.
In their home, an old Bard. He had visited many countries, and sings and tells them all stories, that could be both truth, or the fruit of his old, delusional mind. None the less, the people love him and his stories.
Three years ago the king called all men to the crown for a war in the south of the land. A few months ago, those who remained, returned to the settlement. Now, a few weeks from Easter, the village wants to celebrate their return with a grand feast.
Which side will you choose? What will you add to these simple villages?
