Come be a Pokemon Villain!

Nobody should have to live like this. I'd rather die.

You don't know how many times those thoughts have cycled through your head. Maybe you were crippled in the war with neighboring Johto. Perhaps you were born disfigured or handicapped, unable to participate normally in society. Or possibly you're the victim of an incurable disease or inoperable tumor and worry every single cough or ache you experience might be the start of your last days. Regardless of the cause, you are dissatisfied with living and your attachments to this world -- friends, family, mortgage payments -- are not compelling.

Enter: EXALT.

The cost of their service is high, and not in the monetary sense. You must withdraw from society, be proclaimed dead, all traces of your existence removed. You must sell your mind and soul to the agenda of the Team. But in exchange they will heal what ails you. More than that; they will give you power that you never knew was possible. Power that exceeds that of pokemon. Power that rivals that of the great destroyers of Man themselves, the Storm Birds and other Legends.

It's a steep price to pay, but you are as good as dead anyhow. You sign the agreement, say your goodbyes to the world of mundanity, and prepare to become a monster.

Team EXALT is a Pokemon Tabletop United game taking place in the generation one region of Kanto, given a somewhat more realistic and internally consistent re-imagining. Players take the role of powerful superhumans working for the villainous organization Team EXALT. While PCs may appear modestly powered compared to Gym Leaders and other high-ranking trainers, they wield incredible narrative powers capable of plunging entire cities into chaos. PCs will normally operate alone, optionally with an unpowered EXALT support operative. On occasion, the PCs may be gathered together for special missions. The campaign is designed to give players the feeling of being a superpowered villain; while EXALT will provide assignments, PCs have great freedom to decide where and how to accomplish them.
