SWN: Players (who can also GM in SWN) wanted for experiment
I want to keep things kinda light, fast & fun...

I also want to play SWN, not just GM SWN.

The Inspiration
I've been reading Saga of the Seven Suns by Kevin J. Anderson.

Each chapter is focused on different characters around the sector.

A number of characters spread across 4 society types; 3 of humans, and 1 alien race. The leaders of each society end up as fairly major characters, as do a handful of 'adventurers' whose bold & daring actions have sector-wide consequences.

There's one major series of events that impacts everyone in the sector.

^ I love this approach. This structure. I want to find a light, fast & fun way to recreate it.

The Idea

Duonium: In which at least 2 people can play - by GMing the game for each other.

Let's tell a story using multiples characters for each player.

Every Player is also a GM.

All characters exist in the same setting.

Some characters may never meet.

A player's character roster should be aligned to the same overarching goal - though their personalities and means to achieving the goal might clash or conflict.

Let's not get overly-invested in backstories and 50-page manuscripts of historical content. Keep it light.

The game is played in Scenes. Scenes have a limit of x posts. Scenes need to resolve. Keep it fast.

Each player has a roster of adventuring characters AND a single, powerful Leader character -- the story can duck & weave through a number of plot-lines that may be minor, major, or epic. Keep it fun.

The end result should see a very readable, and enjoyable collection of Characters & Scenes that end up intertwining... like the chapter/narrative structure of a Space Opera book.

Starting off should be somewhat simple. But over time, characters will become complex and dynamic individuals.

More Details...

Check out the game. It's rated mature, as we're adults that might explore mature themes.

At the moment there's two of us. But I can see a way for this to work with more than 2 people.

Not every applicant will be suitable.

If you're interested - throw me an RTJ. Let's have a chat.
