1800s world of Darkness 2nd edition

Hey Folks. So you want yo be a Monster,. Well be careful what you ask for. Just kidding. What we have here is two aspiring Storytellers who are attempting to run a World of darkness second edition based game focusing on werewolf the forsake second and Vampire the requiem. Second. We have very little experience in this particular setting but are very experienced in gaming.

We will be exploring the world of darkness circa 1800. We will be locating our stories in America focusing on two different areas.

Boston Frontier: Located miles away from the thriving city of Boston, A small trading camp struggles to survive in the wild frontier. This game will star the Werewolves as they live on the brink of society, Trying to make they way though a rapidly changing world. Threats on all sides threaten to suffocate the fledgling pack, Native Braves, Spanish and French Troops and various local supernatural entities via for control of the resources of the area. This is intended to be an action oriented area filled with all the trappings of a survival story.

New Orleans: Switching our attention to a more urban environment, we will find the Vampires exerting there ever present influence on the expanding city and surrounding areas. This story will revolve around courtly manner and Vampire intrigue. The Civil unrest in a Spanish controlled french colony, influx of immigrants and thriving sugar boon, as well as the supernatural threats of foreign religions breeds a boiling cauldron of strife that perched to spill over.

We are taking great liberties with the historical setting and won’t be sticking with any sort of cannon. We are going for a player driven with Storyteller supported format. We want the players to be invested in their characters and interested in exploring different themes that may appeal to the individual as well as having a series of hooks that keep the story from becoming stagnant.Player agency is very important to us so expect to make an impact on the game at large. We would also like to see a larger meta plot take shape as the story progresses with the natural convergence of both splats at some point.
