The village was peaceful, families lived out their lives content, and all was right with the world. Then the sun set and all that changed. The forerunners of an invasion entered the village, and the horror began. The village priest and adept were the first to die. By morning, little was left but terror and the need to survive.

Since then, the party has successfully taken a group of survivors to the nearest dwarven kingdom only to find the dwarves under siege. They currently are heading north to look for more survivors, and hopefully a kingdom still intact that can send aid.


Currently level 2, but will be going to 3 soon (leveling is story based rather than xp). Posting rate is slow to very slow. No casters were left alive during the invasion. Therefore you may not take a casting class. Likewise, there are currently no magic items. However, the possibility exists to learn such skills over the course of the campaign. the possibility also exists for locating alternative power(s) for turning back the tide.
