First: Seriously, I do NOT expect you to know this game system, so don't let that be a deterrent.  I would honestly be shocked if you told me you've played this game before, it's that unheard of.  Despite that, I think it's the BEST Supers RPG ever created, and just never had the chance it should have had with the public.

I would like to endeavor to run what is possibly the best and at the same time, most complex Supers game to ever be created.  This game really requires a great deal of patience in the character creation process, so it's not for those that want a quick-sheet.  Expect an entire month -just- on character creation.  But, once created, your character will mirror exactly what you want in a character, because it's just that accurate.

If you're still reading, then you must like the character creation process as much as I do.  Come take a look-see and submit an idea.  Your idea is NOT set in stone, it just gives me a feel... until your first IC post, you can submit and resubmit concepts and ideas as much as you want until you find that perfect character.  I'm not going to hold you to anything until you set it in stone by making an IC post with the character.

That being said, I will auto-approve absolutely everyone, regardless of the RTJ, as long as I have a name to add you with (otherwise I'll just use your avatar name, and we can change it later).  It takes a lot of one-on-one discussion to get into this game and character, so don't stress the RTJ at all right now... as a matter of fact, it would likely be easiest to fill in your RTJ after you've been admitted and have a better feel of the game and world.  :)

Lastly, this isn't like other Supers! sort of games... you will see constant character improvement on your sheets as I hand out XP for every little thing (especially for making regular IC posts).  Within a year, you'll feel more and more like a Superhero.

FYI: The power level starts at roughly Defenders level (if you know Marvel), or if you're good with the system, maybe XMen level.  Think on that when generating the character, so you don't become dismayed when your super idea feels weak by comparison, and just trust that you will reach that idea soon, if you're an active player.  :)

I'd like to somehow incorporate Cthulhu as the bestower of my abilities and if you know anything of the Lovecraft genre often madness follows... Maybe my power will be a mind that can handle the strain?

Looking for some new characters to add to our game.  We're taking a week off for changing the setting a bit, giving people time to join in to a very active superheroic game.

The Theme:

Humanity has been hit by several 'natural' disasters, and when people die, that residual astral energy caused by their deaths tries to rebirth itself elsewhere... (reincarnation of sorts).  When they die in such great numbers that births can not cope with the astral energy, a few or single persons absorb that energy because they were right in the middle of the disaster yet somehow survived, making them the only conduit around for all that astral energy... which mutates them into something... super.

Story so far:

One 'super' has been a super for centuries, and somehow, was again at the middle of such a disaster, making him a super-super... a parasite that feeds off the energy of other supers, draining them to death, and keeping their powers.  He's been temporarily disabled by being dropped from 50km above the earth's surface... though no body was found.

Change of Story:

Now, the supers, who were feared, imprisoned, and even killed for being different, have started to fight back through Public Relations, making a face for themselves, getting the public on their side... they are the new 'Heroes', a team of four supers who fight to return humanity to greatness, and protect it from threats.

Your Entry:

You've been in hiding for the past few years, afraid that if you used your power, you'd be found out and killed.  Now, with the supers being more and more accepted, you've decided to throw on a mask and show the face of a new hero.
