With war brewing in the far east, the Antlered King seeks taxes and soldiers. Pressure mounts on the Earl of Eld, whose newly settled province seems ripe to provide them. But he is frail, his strength stolen by tragedy and age, by rumours of fell creatures in the mountains that mark his westernmost border and hopes that the White Stag might be glimpsed before he is taken by Wind and Fire. And so he has appointed a Privy Council, six Barons and a handful of others, to help him steer the province to prosperity
We're exploring a home-brewed setting based on Celtic and Arthurian elements. Play will be a combination of strategic, narrative and diplomatic elements, with themes of politics, knightly quests, nation-building, romance and a very light touch of the fantastical
We need players to take the role of the Earl's feal barons, though I may accept other roles once we have a sufficiency of barons. Each baron will control their manse and surrounding villages, a handful of named characters and whatever resources they develop together with having a voice on the Privy Council
