The year is now 2020, and two decades have passed since the Preternaturals made their presence known. Most human rebellions have ended and almost all governmental power rests in the hands of the non-humans, although of course some must be kept on board to at least seem like the power is shared. Laws have been passed making it illegal to hunt any Preternatural species and their population has continued to grow while the humans have started to decrease. Many humans left the big cities but some remained. Life is different for everyone, but most days no longer see bloodshed.
In this game you will have the opportunity to play out the daily life of a vampire, were-creature, witch or human living in Elysium, one of these cities with a large preternatural population. Elysium is located in the Northwestern United States and hosts a population for approximately 1.5 million, making it the largest city in the region.
The setting and the species found within it came from ideas of my own with inspiration from multiple Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance settings.
