Ironbleak Adventures

Since the Lost Time the city of Ironbleak has stood as a bastion of defense for the Human Kingdom, defending against monsters, invading armies, and even the Black Swarm. In recent centuries Dwarves and Elves have sought the protection of Ironbleak and made it their home. With its thick, massive walls lined with defensive cannons, the city has never been breached.

With the constant fear of death from starvation, monsters, the corruption of magic, and (for those paranoid of old threats) the Black Swarm, the citizens of Ironbleak carve out a meager existence on the northern edge of the world.

As Ironbleak begins preparations for Lord Vardin's 30th birthday, and the 15th anniversary of him coming to power, the people are excited, but all is not as well as it seems.

The Ironbleak Adventures is a mature, dark, urban, low-magic fantasy homebrew setting. I am looking for 3 Adventurers willing to tackle this dark city and try to uncover its secrets and the greater threats that exist in the world. This game is power by the Cypher System, so if you're interested just RTJ with a basic character concept.

This is a world of Humans, Dwarves, and Elves who have experienced centuries of peace despite constant threat of monsters and lack of usable resources. Magic, generally called Sorcery, is outlawed all but for a few individuals as its power isn't well understood and corrupts those who use it. This doesn't stop practitioners from dabbling in these dark and illegal arts.

Feel free to use any Cypher System resources to conceptualize your character, once you've become more familiar with the setting it can always be tweaked. I'll probably be able to post daily, at least once, let me know what kind of post schedule you have.
