Gundam-esque mecha game seeking players
The year is 2177 and humanity has spread throughout our home galaxy. Massive metal rings known as Slip Gates allow for near instantaneous travel between planets and the Main Asteroid Belt.
The sheer size of Slip Gates, the mining needs of the Belt, and the massive ships needed to haul minerals and ice between these vast distances necessitated the design and construction of massive, bipedal constructs known as Mobile Frames. Mobile frames quickly became the primary means of construction and mining within the galaxy.
In the year 2120 Mars and The Belt declared independence from Earth. And thus a new arms race began, followed soon after by war. After a short, brutal series of engagements the three factions settled into an uneasy peace that has lasted for 50 years.
However, recently there have been rumors that The Belt has grown unhappy with their alliance with Mars and seeks a new, more Earth favorable arrangement. And just that easily, tensions are on the rise once again...
Come join the world of Mobile Frame Zero as our heroes are thrust into the middle of a rising conflict on a galactic scale!
The game uses a modified version of the Index Card RPG (ICRPG) by Runehammer games. ICRPG is a stripped down, lighter hearted version of the hugely popular d20 system. Expeiriance with d20 is not a requirement, and I certainly don't expect anyone to have experiance with a system from such a small publisher. My version of the system is posted in full on the game and anyone can read it. And of course, there will be discussion and working out kinks before the game begins.
If you like Gundam, Giant Mecha, Space intrigue, or Just wanna have fun smashing giant robots in outer space... All are welcome!
