RISUS: Adventurers for Hire

You have just started up your company of Adventurers for Hire. You are not the only one offering these services, and you are definitely not the best ones ... yet. But your rates are reasonable and demand is relatively high!

Right now, you are about to start on a quest investigating something about ... disappearing goats? Well, you gotta start somewhere, right?

Posting rate: The GM will be most active on wednesdays and weekends (possibility of multiple post per day on those times), but a post on another day might be possible, time and energy permitting.

This is a bump. We’re about to start with two players, but more would be fun. Still welcome at the table to join a potato farmer and a forest cyclops solve the mystery of the missing goats!

RISUS: Adventurers for Hire

Could you find room in the party for a Discworld troll?

Arkwright was an Anhk-Morpork troll. He didn't actually have a job, 'cos he done some finkin', right, and he figured out that having a job wasn't much different from doin' work. He didn't quite realise it, but he was the muscle in a protection racket run by a dodgy gnome. All he knew was that his little mate Pixie (yeah, a gnome named Pixie, go figure) got bullied a lot by shopkeepers, bartenders and otherwise-honest artisans because of his size and often needed his big mate to sort 'em out. Until they got the watch to help them, which just goes to show how sneaky and mean they really were.  So Arkwright had to leave town pretty quickish.

He doesn't know much, but he knows enough not to let anyone disrespect his hat. And his ambition is to some day have an even bigger hat. No! --the biggest hat!
