Exalted - A Voyage into Legend!
Between the deserts of the south and the vast expanse of dense jungle that is the far east stretches out a sea beyond imagining. It rests beyond the summer mountains and past the grasslands and hunting savannas. This is a land of adventure. Ancient temples rise in the forests, girded in vines and barely concealed beneath the overgrowth of life. Unknowable secrets lay buried beneath the sands, forgotten since the world was young.
The dreaming sea itself shimmers and pulses, moving as if its waters stirred with a life all their own. Miracles of chaos swim the unseen depths of the sea, guarding the broken shells of ships sunk long ago, their bellies still pregnant with forgotten treasure. Catamarans skim the surface of far flung waves as merchant galleons ferry exotic cargo from the distant shores of sorcerous Ys to the opium halls of Prasad and back again. All the while, pirate frigates wait in the mists, sailing from the shadowed city of Champoor, home to all manner of scum and villainy.
Touched by the light of the sun upon your brow, you will come to call these far-flung lands your home. How will you make your mark?

It is in the veiled city of Champoor that our story will begin. An ancient dragon rules the harbour, and the pall she casts has fostered a refuge for marauders, pirates, and petty criminals from across the region. In this darkened dock, the priests of the Black Shroud whisper in the sunken House of Candles, and the lies they tell are holier than any truth. Many foul gods and spirits call this place home, but for the vagabonds and riff-raff that infest the dock, coins are as sacrosanct as any prayer. It is here, in the dim alleys and shadowed abodes of Champoor that five of the ancient chosen, returned after being so long absent from the world, will be drawn together by the threads of fortune and fate, for good or for ill.
