Towers Intangible is named for the virtual realities the permeate the setting: you are as likely to meet with someone in a virtual lobby as in a coffee shop. This is largely a social effect: if you kill someone in VR, all they feel is the program disconnecting.

The game will be based out of Jakarta, Indonesia. It has grown into a megalopolis of 100 million people from all over the world. In this era of globalization, little explanation is needed for a character from anywhere in the world, and Jakarta is particular diverse.

Augmented reality is common but expensive. AIs that predict your favorite TV shows, identifies faces, and performs simple tasks are everywhere, but true AI is confined to giant mainframes that work on complex problems ... at least, according to the rumors. Cybernetics is advanced, but most people only feel the need for a VR/AR interface. Not everyone has one, but they are ubiquitous among the rich and among city dwellers. For the rest of cybertech, If you can implant it, you can probably wear it. Genetic engineering is running healthily on animals, organs can be cloned, and some people talk about practical human genetic experiments.

Emphasis is on corporate espionage, especially with "Grey" areas of research. The game is in progress, and we lost our two more investigative types. I'm looking for players interested in filling those functional niches.

Previous knowledge of the game system isn't particularly required: we can help you build your character and take appropriate mechanical actions. This is particularly true of the investigative part of the game.

At this point in the game, the PC's just fought off remotely piloted robots that broke into a high-security research facility of "Trans Polynomic Solutions", a leading company in AI-directed research.
