Dodging killer robots? Investigating mysterious pools? Finishing your math homework on time? It's all part of the life in the Loop. A tale of fun, games, and mad science in the 80's that never was...

Taking inspiration from classic kids on bikes fiction like E.T, and Stephen King's IT as well as modern renditions such as Stranger Things, Fun, Games, and Mad Science is a new game in the Tales From the Loop system where players take the roles of kids in a fantastic, alternate reality version of the 1980s. While they try to manage their boring, dreary normal lives they get pulled into fantastic and dangerous scenarios known as Mysteries. In pursuing the mysteries the kids will find fantastic things, meet all sorts of people, and just maybe make a difference.

The game takes place in a fictionalized version of the Chicago Suburbs, and centers on mundane issues, mad science, and mystery. No experience with the setting or game is required, and reference materials will be provided. I'm looking for excited, imaginative roleplayers who want to really craft that sense of childlike adventure and excitement. Come along and let's craft a fantastic game and a wonderful story!
