Chapter 3: Iatharias

You ride to the city of Iatharias without too much incident. As you travel both Halek and Prizzard recover fully, though you all have strange dreams about the goddess you saw back at the temple in Halidar where you lost your companions. Jett is very quiet as you ride, lost in thought about something unpleasant from the looks of him, though he doesn't talk about it.

As you make it to Iatharias you are greeted by the sight of a massive wall surrounding the city. It is not nearly as grand or huge as Halidar, for that city has no equal. However, Iatharias is much more clean and orderly and there are guards everywhere, the oracle's Calvary, who keep order in the city, though they give you no trouble. In the center of the city is a massive palace made of white marble that is speckled with shimmering blue that catches the sun. Jett informs you that it is ground sapphires that have been mixed in with the building materials centuries ago. Iatharias is noted most for their great sapphires, and it seems they have put them to good use.

You head to the town center and everyone is clean and there are no beggars, to your surprise. People seem cheerful and peaceful and prices are fair as well. Indeed this place seems something of a paradise compared to the gritty streets of Halidar. Jett goes to find an inn, leaving you to explore and see what you can find.

ooc: Anywhere you wish to go before you try to find the oracle? Also, please roll spot checks both of you.

"Every place where humans live, there is darkness. Some just hide it better." He seems very cautious, keeping his face hard to see, not wanting to be arrested.

"It is indeed a shiny city... let us hope nothing will darken it's mood..."

Raknesh's habit have him scan the area for possible threats and exits.
