Sparring Thread

Ok, so here's some general guidelines for sparring.

1) I don't want to babysit the fights all the time. I'm busy enough as it is, so it will be up to the players to keep track of hit points, AC, damage, etc. It's just for fun and only if you are interested.

2) If you get defeated, don't take it seriously or get upset! Just think of it as a way to identify weaknesses your character has and when you level up you can focus on ways to strengthen those flaws in your abilities. If you are going to get upset about it, don't spar!

3) All damage is sub dual. Keep things organized and on the table and work with each other so everyone is on the same page.

Of course you don't have to participate in sparring if you don't wish, but if anyone is interested in their characters training together I figured this would be a good place to center that around. You can keep up a sparring session on the side, there's no need to hold up story lines because of it. It's just for fun, that's all.

Prizzard is prepared to spar any night these last two weeks, it's a good way to vent emotions..

I might try, but Raknesh is a ranged fighter and his most efficient when others are 'distracting' the melee fighters ^^

Choose a day and time

"You prefer daggers, right? We may have something almost as short.." He pulls out a sparring short sword, shorter than his practice rapier, but more built for taking and giving a beating.

"Well, I am a very adaptable man" he ansered as he first manifested his usual energy arrow.
Then it changed to something akin to a longsword, then an heavy bastard sword.

"But I'm indeed ill suited for that kind of weapon"
he added as the energy blade split into two short  swords, then fused again into a single one.

"But even so, I'm pretty clumsy with melee fighting."

"Compared to Tanzy, we are all clumsy, I just strike harder. I will fight a bit slower since this is our first time." He tosses Raknesh the padded short and picks up his practice rapier.

Essentially, I'll just remove the STR bonus from attacks and damage.
