If it is daytime or approaching daytime in the next few hours, Prizzard will have his familiar on his person. If there are high open windows, Sonn can land and peek in if he is outside.

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

I assume people are as busy as I've been from the looks of it! No rush, whatsoever! If you want to push ahead though, I'm fine with that. I assume you guys are all ok to be in on the plan of taking out this nobleman right? You can always roll gather info for when you're out of the den place to see if you think he really deserves it and get information and such. Also, you'll want to come up with a plan on how you want to get into the noble's home. It will be well guarded but there are definitely weak points, so you can decide who goes where and does what etc and then we can make a decision.

                               OR

If you want to pretend to go along with things to try to snag the pearl from Ursa another way, that's also an option. Just let me know what you wish to do. There are many possibilities :)

I'm trying to not be the first responder every time. Honestly not trying to be the party leader.

Sorry I’ve been so flakey! Distance learning with my two kids is brutal! I’m also bottle feeding 4 foster kittens and life just seems crazy these days! I will try to do better:) Also I’m pretty sure none of us mind if Prizzard is the first responder. The gm does a decent job of keeping things even :)

Well, Prizzard appears to know or at least be known, Tanzy is a bit in her element so Raknesh here will mostly follow their direction. It's pretty new for him this kind of place ^^

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

Prizzard considers Raknesh to be the party leader. Maybe it's not obvious since Prizzard usually knows the plan or his role in a given situation, but at a time like this when he's unsure how much information to give or which angle to use, he defers to the serious guy with mind powers.

It doesn't seem any of us are officially the leader to him, but he has his own idea of who he considers most adept in which situations.

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

I have a plan for getting to Stalten, but it may require a bit of convincing the gods (Artemis).

My Bag of Holding can carry 500lbs, which will be 2-3 of us. It's a bit time-sensitive, but it can mitigate the lack of stealth skills for some of us.

Hum... don't we need to breath? I'm not certain there is (enough) breathable air in such an item.

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

I believe there’s 15min of air in a bag of holding right? Is that lessened by the amount of people? Someone can borrow Tanzy’s ring as we’ll, she probably could get in without it :)

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

10 minutes, 5 for 2 people, but this assumes the bag is closed. A single minute in combat time is 10 rounds, imagine what ground could be covered in 50 rounds, which doesn't account for the extra time we could have if the bag were somehow propped open.

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

I will allow the 5 minutes for 2 people. I'm not going to do the bag propped open thing, because it would be too easy to overdo that, but if you can get somewhere private or make an excuse or something, there is a possibility of opening the sack and resetting the air. That said, if you go in via a guarded entrance, the guards may be a bit suspicious about a stranger bringing in a sack, so keep that in mind. It's definitely a good idea, but it is not without risk....mwahahahahahahahaha!!!

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

I assume we will not be able to leave the bag at our leisure either, we will need to have a hand to grab or have the bag turned inside-out. It seems a bag full of water doesn't spill even if laid on its side, so I presume either the extradimensional space is always oriented with the hole at the top or there is some kind of one-way barrier.

Good reminder Bryon. That's good, it saves up space and is another way of keeping an eye on things, since this is a dangerous venture...

Prizzard, you're right. You won't be able to get on your own, and it will keep things in one place.

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

Oh I just figured if we couldn’t open the bag ourselves we wouldn’t be able to cut it open either. It’s such a gray area!

If we want to move the game along we can kind of hash out our plans here. Tanzy’s vote would be for one of the ladies to get him alone and then we can kill him in private with less chance of interference. I’m pretty sure Tanzy and Bryon can both pass for nobility with a wardrobe update and walk in the front door? The others might be able to sneak in through a window or a back door? Am I remembering correctly that Raknesh can walk up walls or something? Might come in handy to gain entry through an upstairs window/balcony? He can wear the invisibility ring and carry a few up in the magic bag? I also vote that if we run into trouble with the witch Raina and Prizzard take the lead! That is if Prizzard have his powers back? I’m a little fuzzy on our historical details! Let’s toss some ideas around and come up with a plan :)

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

Good idea Tanzy. Go ahead and hash out your general plans here. Nylock is a powerful tool, but you have to get him in because he's suspicious looking as all heck. Also, the guard situation is significant. So escape plans are important too.
Women can absolutely seduce, as long as their diplomacy checks are good enough.

Since you can't open the bag, that's a really good question about the slicing. Hm....because it kind of takes the danger and fun out of it if you can just slice out. I'll have to research, unless someone already knows the answer? My thoughts are to make it at the very least, very difficult to do. Otherwise I see this being overused and where's the fun in that? mwahahahahahahaha!

So why don't you guys put your plan together and make all your appropriate rolls such as bluff, diplomacy, hide, move silently, whatever it is we need. Then I'll start the scene...

So think about who should go in the bag and who can bluff or hide effectively enough to get in. Note, if you fail your rolls, there will be consequences ;P

Re: ooc- The place for chatting

I've heard it mentioned, but I'm not quite sure what it is!

Btw, I finally looked up the bag of holding thing. Here's what it says,

"If the bag is overloaded, or if sharp objects pierce it (from inside or outside), the bag ruptures and is ruined. All contents are lost forever. If a bag of holding is turned inside out, its contents spill out, unharmed, but the bag must be put right before it can be used again. If living creatures are placed within the bag, they can survive for up to 10 minutes, after which time they suffocate."

So....I think cutting the bag could be bad...lol Note the lost forever part ;P

Alright, just let me know if anyone wants to take the leap into the bag now, hahahahaha! Nylok will have no problem if there's a spot open for him, so that's an option.

Just waiting on people's decisions and rolls and I'll get started, but I understand life is busy so there's no rush!
