Kinda like your women, not too picky as long as they don't smell fishy huh, she said jokingly.  She puts her stuff down onto the chair next to where Adam would be sitting.  The picture placed nicely for everyone to view when they sit on the couch, that Adam had given her.

She calls the pizza place, ordering a meat lovers, buffalo wings, and cheese sticks with a couple of different sodas.  She paid for it with her credit card before she returned to her company settling into the seat next to him.

It'll be here in about 30 minutes, she said.

  He  smiles, Nice picture...Steele  was surprised at mine Good bet he'll be looking to get one of his own!  He had popped the  first  Disc  in , his  fingers moving across the  DVD button making the screen flash, until he stopped at BILLS,,,

 As it  came  on  he settled in and smiled at her  again,Now? Its all about using your eyes, not your mind..at least..not at first...ever do those books in school,?  Find the hidden picture"  or the cartoons,"spot the differances?"

 he nods to the screen..first? You look for   a time when the player looks exactly the same...like here...and..um..here!  he  thumbs through the  buttons,Now?  In both of these..it turns out, they are  in Man-for-Man..which means?  everytime he stands  with his left  foot back an inch or so further..he's in Man coverage, and  wants to start off..his stronger foot..

  Pointing the button at the screen he adds,You can tell, most times, what the Defense is when you leave the Huddle...and..as the QB calls out the plays, or we  put a guy in motion? But..when you see something like this? It comes in handy if they don't shift...because he might be  Hiding something..Look?  here?.. they use him to CB blitz sometimes..everytime he does,  he'll line up slightly to the inside of the wide out...cripes!  this  guy is sloppy....

  he settles  back..his eyes  going almost as  fast  as the images on the screen as he  fast forwards..or  backs up as he finds   images that match...his  right arm goes around her shoulder and his hand  slips up into  her hair as he absently  combs through it..liking the feel of   her  hair slipping through....

Celeste listened to Adam explain how he watched the videos, analyzed them for tips and tricks to learn about the other team.  She would look at the tv every so often, but mainly watched him.  Watched what he did, spoke, talked about his passion, intriguing.

She picked upon a few things as well by watching.  Different cheers to help distract the fans, sometimes even the players if they could hear well enough.  She'd be on the sidelines this go around and was confident enough to let Lu-Ti handle things.  Though if Lu-Ti needed her, she'd have her uniform ready.  They'd gotten the away uniforms in so that they would match the players.  She was excited to see how they differed and looked on everyone.

Knowing how important it was to focus on the details, she never once distracted Adam as he watched the videos.  It took them both this long and working hard to finally achieve their goals, to be at this point.

When he relaxed a bit and began to comb his fingers through her hair did she in return curl up next to him.

Now, I expect you to use that same critiquing style on my videos, she jested.

  Leaning his head against hers  he smiled  a bit,..it should be the  same thing...football..Golf.. Cheers...there  are always constente...there  are  always things   that are done differant..the  thing  to see...is someone meessing up on a constent

  I won't  waste this time on him, but  i could bring  up Givens..or Gearhart, when he was still here? And i could,  rip them apart..i do that to  myself   every  couple of weeks  after the  GAmes start...that's why i don't have peaks  and Valleys..normally  a nice  flat line  with a spike , once in a while..

  his hand combed through her  hair twilring  it around his  finger  once in  a while, he turned to her,..remember..you promised to tell  me if you get bored..i can do this   at my place before i go to sleep..

Partially turning to him shaking her head.  No, you are not boring me.  Im fine and well with what you are doing.  Its purposeful.

I may not fully understand since I'm not actually a player or a coach myself, but there is reason behind it.  Its our job.

 Adam winks  at her  and  gives  a shake  of his ehad...one hand thumbing the DVD  button, the  other hand playing with her hair, he runs the   4 Buffalo D backs time and  again.. he  chuckles  some  time  and  says  something  about this guy's  Stance. or the other guy's footwork...he makes  some notes in  a notebook That said  AFC...and  turned to the page   BUFFALO.

  He shrugs,Well?  That was fast...Anything  else i need to see  I'll see in  the meetings...either the recievers  meeting., or the Quarterback's  meeting, or the Offense meeting...

   So? what do we do now?  You  have a movie you want to watch?

Celeste had answered the door and gotten the pizza, wings, and other things ready just as Adam finished up his videography studying.  She had even came back and sat down close to him letting him play with her hair, her legs under her.

Well, food is ready for us to eat.  What would you like to drink?

Having went to her fridge she opened it and pulled out a beer.  In her opinion, wine was for pansies who didn't have taste in a premium domestic draft.

As for what to watch next, well I haven't rummaged up any cheer competitions so that would be out of the question for tonight.  So, maybe, a movie.

She pointed to the cabinet that looked like a small dresser in the corner near the tv.  If Adam went and opens it, he'd be surprised to see a man's sanctuary.  The optinum of all game systems, a handful of games per each system, and about 30 or 40 dvds.  Even a handful of vcr tapes.

  Soda's good...regular if you have it..I'm not  a bg  fan of Diet...If you don't have  either, surpise me...

  his eyes  look over the  Cabinetwow... a chick who's a Gamer!...very nice!...  flicking through the Movies  he says, I dunno?  what  do you feel like watching? YOu sat through  my  game films...your  turn to call the shots...

Who says us girls can't have a bit of fun.  I dunno, anything that says danger or thrills, I'm all for.  Looking into the collection, it was mainly scary movies or action flicks.  Only maybe one or two chick flicks, if you called B rated movies that.

She grabbed Adam a soda and brought it to him along with the pizza and other food and sat it on the cushioned footstool/coffee table.

Hummmm.... Arthur? the  one  with  the Chick from  Pirates of the Caribean?  he looks over   his shoulder at her,..your  house Celeste..but  i do like  dark haired Heriones!  he grins  with a wink.

Sure!  she had picked up a few plates and brought with the food.  Sounds good to me.

She looks down and then back to the wide screen tv.

Though I think I'm a bit more endowed than her.

Celeste laughs as she takes a bite of her food.  She takes a quick look at his bandage to see if it needs changing before she get involved in eating.

  Then   wound looks  pretty  god, considering, a fresh  patch   and its  good to go.

   As the show startsm he   Pulls her in closer, the plate on his lap as to make certain it  didn't tumble,well...you are a bit more stacked..for certain..but your eyes are the main thing...The rest is icing!  he chuckles.  and hands her t the control , for when she is ready to start the  movie...as she reaches for the control, he  kisses her softly,  Thanks  , for  all this...haven't ben this relaxed in a while!

Celeste smiled into the kiss as the movie begins.  Not really worrying about the movie much less the remote, she puts it back into his lap.

Glad to know I'm compared to icing, said Celeste jesting back with him.  You know you deserve to have some down time and relax.  You don't always have to think about work or football.  Not even about where you'll be in the next year or so.  It wears on a person.  If I have to pull you into this zone by simply bringing you here, I'll do it.

She took a bite of the wings, spicey, she grabbed her drink and took a sip.

  With a grin  he heard the Movie start he looked at the  TV  as Arthur and his  Knights  charged intot he battle to save the holyman , and his  small caravan.I like this Arthuer, better then Most Arthurs..he doesn't wear the Burdan as much, because  he isn't king  yet, and he won't  lose the girl, 'cause Lancelot gets  killed,..not that i think she would have left him..the characters  seemed into each other..anyway...I like  how he can lead, without  Really trying...a team gets  a Quarterback like that? They'll win a lot of superbowls!

   There is  a pause  as he  goes to take a bite of his Pizza,Sorry..a guess, just leaviing  the game  totaly out  of  my mind will take some doiing,  after he swallows  the pizza  he titls his head towards her,..You know?..there's nothing wrong witgh icing..I always had a sweet tooth!

I guess then that I'm your just desserts?  Celeste had finished eating what was on her plate and sat it down on the table before them.  Her head resting upon his shoulder.

I learned a long time ago that there was no real prince charming or happily ever after, especially after what my brother and his first wife went through.  Sheesh.  They are living their separate lives now, the kids are torn between them both and don't really understand.  Guess thats why I've waited so long.

She gave a very soft shrug which nudged into his arm.

    He  kissed the top of her ehad   as she nestled,well...Prince Charming...I am not. But?  I'll do  my best...if  nothing else..I might make you feel...Like  royality, of sorts?

  In the Movie The  knights  were stopped  by Merlin, as they made thier to  to try and save  the Roman family from the Horde that was moving down the  Island...

 ..and?..I'm  only a phone call away...and when i don't have my phone...  his   arm pulls her  a tad  closer,..it  doesn't  matter, 'cause  , more then like? you'er  in the smae place i am!

Ben comes home, glances into the lounge and betakes himself upstairs as quietly as a big bloke can!

Celeste thought about how much time they may spend or not spend together and instead on dwelling that they semi-work together she thought about how they would spend their time away from both their jobs and positions.

Yes, I'm sure we are just a football field away...  Though I do need to know where you would like to eat or what you would be interested in when we get to Buffalo, since we'll be double dating with Harry.

Celeste crooked a smile at him curious to what he will mention.

    Yea..I bet all the girls on the team will be jealous  beyound compare , when they  hear about  are  great  nigth infront of the TV, watching  DBs  make mistakes ... he grinned.

 As  far as Buffalo goes? I dunno..never  been there. My Tastes run simple, Pizza   and stuff like that..though Getting  Lobster, or  going to  a high Class Diner  once  in a while  doesn't  put  me off...I...um..never had  a reason to go to "good" places  before...  Smiling at her, he adds, You'er  gonna have to  teach me  alot  of things..

  Adam stopped parked the car  in front of  thier  townhouse, and gave the Keys to Ben.  Ifi don't make it  back, take my car  down to the dealership.  I'll pick it up later...otherwise , I'll be here in the morning to drive you down.

  He opened the  Trunk and took out his  stuff, Placed them   inside the door closest, and   headed off in a jog towards   Celeste's  place.

 Shortly after  dropping off  Ben and the car...Adam bounded up the Steps  and  Knocked on Cel's  door, Looking around to see if  anyone else was out this time of  night, as he waited.

"Have a good one, Adam... I'm for a bath and my bed."

Ben headed upstairs to his quarters, had a soak in his tub and turned in, dreaming of football plays all night long.

Celeste nearly jumped out of her skin when there was a knock at the door.  Briskly walking to answer it, when she opened it she nearly lunged at Adam.

What's the news? she whispered in his ear.

  Adam  was just turning back to the Dooir  when he was "blindsided"  By Celeste.

  He Gave her a hug, ..lets  talk inside...  They went inside, he  motioned  for her to sit down. a serious look on his  face....They didn't tell us  about  the cuts...but they told us there were trade offers  for us...Q-Ball is going to Bufflo for a  rookie DE....I guess that guy will show upo here tomorrow...Duke was asked for , by the Chargers....He didn't go...Ben was  asked for, By St Louis..he didn't go...The Steelers and the Jets asked  about me.....

  Adam looked at her  for a momnet...

Celeste's eyes widened at the sudden seriousness that Adam had turned regarding other teams wanting him.  Though she'd like for him to stay here, she knew where his heart fell and was always with the game.  She knew that going into "this".

Oh, uhm, ok, she said hesitantly.  She took a seat, her hands shaking wildly at the news or information he was about to give.

Well, they, will uhm, be closer to home for you.  Closer to your Canadian fans as well.  I know your family will be happy.

She tried to muster up some form of happiness even though inside, it hurt her feelings if he left.
