Ben wandered off into the kitchen and soon there were some interesting smells as he concocted a meatloaf.

 Heather began to get ready to go to the party, she was dressed in just jeans and a Dragon T-shirt she was not in the mood to party, she couldn't drink. Nat had something to take care of and hoped she could get to the party, but Heather was not staying long. Heather took it slow and easy and headed for her car, and then to the Rising Son.

 around  6:30  Lu-Ti Called  saying she  was at  the  Amato  airfield, Adam  volunteered to get her  so   Ben could   finish  cooking...

 as he  went to   leave,Adam said,If you don't  mind me hanging around, I'll stay  to eat?... I'll leave aroun   8:00..doesn't take long to get there.

 about  15 Minutes later  Adam  came in shaking his head... Lu-Ti   hled her  arms up in the air..I was in a hurry!

 Adam looed  at Ben as he put  down her two bags...she got their copter guy to fly her to the  parking lot?.....There's no one in the  parking lot?..why  not  Land   but the community!

 The Pilot  didn't want to get that close... and? I called you when i saw  your car get on the  highway!

He  Picked up her bags  and set the  by the stairs  that led up to Ben's apartment level.well..you're Here now? Ben should be done soon... then he sat back down on the couch and   cued up the films...

 You are staying?

 Adam looked at Lu-Ti....Just to eat? Then I/m going to the party?  Unless you want me to go now? I can get food  to eat there?

 Her  Eyebrow raised...Adam sighed....

 he packed up his   discs and  notebooks  and Laptop....Alright..see  you later.... Ben? Save me  a sandwich worth...  and Adma  went out  the door with his Backpack.

Ben came out of the kitchen.

"Welcome back, you were earlier than I expected!"

He wasted no time, however, in sweeping her into his arms for a good kissing.

"The meatloaf is just about ready, with mash, garden peas and a gravy I have yet to make. Come and talk to me while I get that done."

He saw her chase Adam off and called "Of course we'll leave some for you" at the departing back.

"The joys of having a housemate. Come tell me about your day."

He got her settled with a glass of whatever she wanted, then set to making gravy for the meatloaf.

 Lu-Ti gave a  sigh,It was  most annoying  bit of  meetings...there was fall out from the Titans losing thier  DB  for the rest of the season, because of the actions  taking against Lissy Dragon....There was issues  brought up , about  The Upcomign  suspensions  forThe Colts, and the Late hit  on heather...some people thing it is over  reaction, because she is a woman...others  say, The Dragons bring this on ourselves , by the way we play...

  she leaned o the counter watching,Father  and Yuto..as  Yuto did it  by conferance call. Laid into those who said such things. Making  certain that they know, The Dragons will be playing  like this, as long as we are in existance....He added 'the game is not  for people with  weak feeligns  and weak hearts"

 Then she shook her  head  as she said,not more the  1 hour after those attacks... we were approached  by 6 teams... some who do not like us..some who are , our  friends...about trading  for people Like You, Steele , Adam and Wheeler...They threw draft choices at us, like it was confetti..Father told them No...but they could contact Yuto, to see what deals might
 be made.

 I think...they think, if they take a few players from us, we will not be as good....others may think, that  if they get some of our players, their team will be good...

"They are jealous of how well we are doing. They either want to stop us or emulate us... and are scared they won't be able to do either," said Ben, who was whisking butter into his pan juices.

"Just as long as Yuto doesn't give me away..."

He grinned.

"Unless he is willing to trade you as well!"

  Tye people on sports  shows, say the Cowboys  would offer  3 first round picks for you... some say San Diego would off   2 first round picks  and a 3rd  round  pick  for Adam

  I do not think they understand   My Father  and Yuto...

Ben grinned.

"I doubt I'm that valuable. Still, I'm guessing you want to go to the party tonight. Do you want to eat first, or have this to come back to afterwards?"

For all he'd had a steak lunch, Ben was getting hungry.

 let us eat here first, be nice to have a hot meal that didn't come from some snooty hotel chef...

"Just from some snooty football player," grinned Ben as he served up.

"Hope you like it, meatloaf just as Grandma Hope used to make it, with a few modern variations from me..."

His mother had not been very interested in cooking. His dad was, so the quality of food when he was growing up fluctuated depending on whether or not his father had been mobilised. He'd learned to cook as self-defence, but discovered that he enjoyed it and was actually quite good at it.

 Lu-Ti sat  as she moved a bottle of  wine over to the Table...one, My life will slow  dow, and  I wil be able to cook you some  Japanese food, Like My mother Makes.

 she seemed thoughtful , for a moment,I do not think, anyone in my family, thought   the  NFL would be   like this...

"I shall look forwards to that. Will you teach me how to cook it or do you want that to be your 'special thing'?"

He looked at the wine.

"I'd like to join you in that, so I'd better order a taxi to take us to the Rising Sun."

He fetched a couple of glasses and settled at the table to enjoy his dinner.

"What did your family imagine owning an NFL team would be like?" he asked curiously.

 as they  ate, Lu-Ti sighed,we have different  view of  football. It is  alike  father's  Samuri ...there have been times  when Players  did the bidding of the  coach, and did something dishonorable...or perhaps, they acted  upon  themselves.

 we had , very fast runner on out  team, when Adam first  joined...another  Team, hurt him on Purpose...There was much in the paper and television, of how dishonorable it was... Player had to Apologize and was  not permitted to play the very next week.... 4 week later, we play them  again..Adam was now starting  , he  earned  Much Respect  from our players..he worked hard..and did  things, beneath him, so he would not  cause problems  with the locker room.

 He  ran down Under  Kickoff.. the  player whi did  harm to our Player.. Adam hit very very hard..the Player  was hurt badly..many ribs broken... Adam Bowed  to Him, then to our fans...Much was made of this...but it was called 'The Act of the Samuri..since he brought  Justice  for the player who was Injured

 she smiled,Father always liked Adam, even though hedistrusted him at first..he saw  Adam was not Yuto's friend for Money..and  they were in many fights at school, until people  did not want to make the football players  angry...But..whe Adam did that..one little  thing..He became   Samuri to my father... Honorbale warrior...

 Sipping her wine,That is what father  wanted here...Samuri...but he found, very few of the teams are Honorable.... and  even less players  are Samuri....Coach  Sims...is a  warlord...he has much love  for   the coaches and the players... This..makes him very forceful at meetings... there are  a few times  that have come over to our side....but they are doing it, because they see the Dollarsigns we are stacking up..if we would have failed...egven our friends  would  have  truned thier backs on us....now  we  are the Large  Puppy, as you say..

Ben was thoughtful.

Maybe it's a way of keeping score but many people equate success with amassing cash. From what I have read, the way of the samurai is different. Bettering yourself isn't about getting richer but about being a better person, better at whatever it is that you do. Ideally, we should have both but without the inherent selfishness both schools of thought entail. In becoming richer or more skilled, we should always be looking to share, to help others improve themselves as well. Not smashing them down but building them up."

He ate the last of the meatloaf on his plate.

"When do you want to go to the Rising Son? Do you need to change first?"

Ben was in jeans and t-shirt. He'd probably better smarten up a bit.

   she  dabbed her  lips,..I would not like to go at all, at least tonight, But  i do not want to be the one who causes  bad luck!

 Natalia had to fly home  for a family emergency..so we will already be  missing one   woman..and Yuto woud be  disappointed..we should go to  'start the stomp' then we  may sneak otu have the part is going?

"All right. Go do what you need to do, I'll call a taxi. I'd best smarten up a bit before we go."

Ben went off to find a collared shirt and a light jacket.

"You ready, my love?" called Ben as the taxi drew up outside.

 She  came down from Ben's  apartment with  sleek jeans , white sneakers  and a  Dragon Green , silk Blouse..

 I am ready... it is  always good to have  a Victory party.

"Call ahead... we don't want them starting the Stomp without their star cheerleader," said Ben handing her into the taxi.

"Take us to the Rising Son, please. If you have a card, I'll call you when we want to come home again," he said to the driver.

 Lu-Ti   Sends a Text to Yuto, while the Driver nods and smiles,  handing Ben a card from the  holder on his dashboard.

  My Name is Akeem..i call myself, 'Driver of Dragons"..manymany  Dragons  ride in my taxi!

"Thank you, Akeem," said Ben, taking the card and settling back in his seat.

  The guard left the  cars through the   Gate. Adam parked   heather  car   by backing in, so she could just pull out in the morning on her  way  for treatments...

 Kane was Hunched over the   wheel and   Adam's Car... he powered down the window..hey?  Little Bro, you're driving this thing  back..i'm afraid to wreck it...

 Hey? as long as you're ok? I can buy , like 10 of those, when i get my bonus money in February..

 kane shut off  Adam's car and   squeezed out...you drive..  and he leped   Adam with heather , up the steps to her  door.

 Haether smiled at Kane and Adam and said, " Thank you very much guys, now go back and have fun I will be fine."  Heather with their help got into her townhouse and went inside. She said good bye to both of them and she took her meds and headed for a soothing bath.

 Heather gets out of the bath, dries off and puts on a robe. She heads downstairs and she goes onto her computer. First, she checks on anything about her or the illegal hit!!!! Secondly, Heather looks for reactions of her going to the party tonight and being miserable.

 Heather also gets out her phone and sends Adam a text message," Hey Adam how is the party going, did I miss anything exciting?"

  Heather  doesn't see anyhting yet, most likely have to wait for the 11:00 shows.

  Adam Texts back...nothing out of the ordinary...Cindy announced she  moving up the  the   New Jacksonvillie ESPN  studios..she introduced her   repalcement... seems like  a nice  chick...
