  Dressed and showered, Adam walked out towards the gate, to get his car. He stopped around the  50 yeard line. he looked around the stadium, people working in the stands picking up trash and wipign down seats. more then a few of them would wave and give hima thumbs up, he would  wave  back and grin.

  Steele was just leaving ghte  gate now, his head down as he walked briskly to the lot.

  But  Adam  wanted to savor the feel of the filed...blooded with a victory...

Ben followed Adam out of the changing rooms, clean and back in street clothes. He was still grinning as he headed out towards the lot, in two minds whether to walk home or wait for the Bomb and cadge a ride.

He looked round, drinking it all in.

Then his phone rang.

"Hey, Ben!" It was his dad.

"Good game, boy. I'm proud of you!"

"Did you see it on TV, Dad?"

"No... I'm in the stands..."

Almost dropping his phone in shock, Ben looked round. High above, a figure stood and waved.

Ben bolted up the steps towards him...
