The ball sailed true straight into Ben's waiting hands. He didn't even break stride as he tucked it under his arm and made for the endzone, leaving stray 'Skins in his wake. He even seemed to have time to pick his spot as he approached the line...

TOUCHDOWN!!!

He capered in the endzone, doing a Dragon Stomp, before running back downfield and over to the sidelines, grinning all over his face.

He high-fived Steele.

"Thanks, beautiful pass!"

  Smokey came on the field, the PAT  team set up and the Ball went through, though it was a bit  shanked.

  The redskinbs Coache s   just took off their Headsets and handed them to the Kids on the sidelines. Most of the Players had  already 'untaped' Hands or  lossened their pads. Only the   2nd  teamers  were  sent out for the  return.

  The Teams  Lined Up for the kickoff,  Smokey Booted it as far as he could, it  came down 2 yards  deep in the endzone, the return man brought the ball out and  was Brought  down by Bing on the 19

 1:59 4th Q two minute warning.

  The Redskins  Came Out ..Lined up... and  took a Knee..the crowd  booed like crazy..and  then went Nuts when Sims called a Time out!\

 The redskin Coach looked at Sims with his  hands held  out  wide.

 Sims    just held  up  a finger  wagging it back and forth shaking his head.

 the  QB  took a step  back..and  took a Knee...  again the crowd  Booed..again Sims called  the dragon's  second time out...again the fans went crazy.. the few 'loyal' Redskins  fans    left to join 80%  of the other fans who had already left...leaving happ Dragon's  fans  daning in the   ailse or  seats.

  The Redskins  Caoch  looked with Disgust at Sims...Sims  Just grinned....

 the Punt   team came on, The Punt sailed High , down the Middle, Klay took the  ball at the  Dragon 40 and returned it to the 49.

Steele led the Dragons offence out once more, clapping his hands and urging everyone to take their spots as quickly as they could - no slacking here. He barked a few quick signals and then called for the snap. No better way to keep things rolling - and annoy the opposition - than to look for Bronk...

  At the Snap   Bronk  Burst up field  breaking in , under the DB Looking  for the BAll.

 Steele Hisssed  a pass out to him, he  caught it in his  belly and  and Broke back to the  Outside, the DN    grabbed his  jersey. but he  just dipped his  shoulder to  used the DB's Momentum  to fling him off,  switch the ball to his outside  hand  Jut in time to stiff arm the   SS  and POick upo another  7 yards before he  was slammed out of  Bounds.

 He Got Up, fired  a Pass to the ref ( who dropped it), greiing  sheepishly at the others  as he set the ball for play.

Ben settled ready for the snap, checking the position of the defense and mentally planning his next run... as eager as he had been at the first scrimmage of the game.

Bronk made a nice snatch and move and picked up a nice gain. Steele waved everyone up once again, not that they needed told, and gave them a few seconds to set and hear his quick call. Then he took the snap and looked for another quick dart to Ben.

  Ben Looked over his   shoulder as the  ball zipped towards his  Pads, The SS  and the   LOLB got there about the  same time the  BAll.    after  Ben hit  the Ground, the  Ball came out, Refs  Ruled incomplete.

 Bronk was   Yelling at the  Umpire pointing at the screen, then turn to the   Sidejudge and did  the  Same thing.

 The whistle blew and the Ref  went under the Hood.

 Again the Redskin's head  coach threw up his hands at the 'waste of time' with the score being what it was. But the Refs had a job to do as well.

 when they came out , the pass was  ruled complete, and the  Dragons' fans  cheered.

Ben waited quietly whilst the refs discussed the pass, but did jump in the air when they decided it was complete. He could have told them that but, hey, it was only his hands on the ball after all!

Frowning as the refs called the pass incomplete James was about to complain but of course the mouthy Bronk beat him to it. And just as well, as the call was overruled and Ben's latest catch allowed to stand.

He lined everyone up and then gave the ball to Klay on a draw up the middle.

  Klay Took the Ball and found a small seam, but  was hit hard  By the MLB.

  He gained  4.

Ben trotted back to his place in the line, ready for yet another play.

Klay nailed the first down but the downside was that the clock was ticking. Steele hurried everyone up, rolling his hands around to indicate hustle was required (or that they should "get a frickin' move on!"). Then he called for the snap and yet again looked for Bronk down the sideline or Ben down the seam - with only seconds left he wanted a big gain - and possibly more.

Ben shot off down the seam, legs pumping...

   took a Jab step Out, and Spun BAck in... Steele's Pass  was already halfway there as  muscle memory brought  Adma's hands up  to bring the  BAll in, he  slide stepped the trailing DB  and  turned tot eh outside  and Dove out oif bounds to stop the clock.

2-2 R19  :21 seconds left clock stopped 4Q

 Adam Looked to wards the sidleeines and Saw  Sims' finger  circling around his head to rush folks to the line.

 Clock stopped or not..the Skins weren't even subbing anyone, who evcer was out there.. was there  until the  final Gun.

Ben raced back to line up again.

Luke dashed back into position and awaited for Steele's play call.

Although he rushed everyone up to the line Steele was calm in his head, knowing just what he wanted to do. He called Klay into block and had the receivers run their intricate patterns...and audibled for Lucas to go into play action. He then tried to hit the fullback over the middle in what he hoped would be acres of space...

Ben shot off the line like a rocket, seeking space as he curled inwards, running deep.

Lucas pushed and darted his way through the line and held the "ball" in his grasp in the PA pass.

  The Clock  ticked  as  they Lined up  and Steele  called the Play.  Brock  ran slant and Go Drawing the SS  to float closer to the endline on his side.

 Makins did the  same, the  FS ignored him, but the  MLB took a step to the outside. Ben had the FS keying on him,, The  Pop pass ...JUST....made it past the  DT's  hand  and   Lucas puled it in., there  was :01 left o9nt eh clock..but it Vanished as if by Magic.

  The Kicking Team  came on the Field and Smokey Booted the PAT.

 Dragons 88 Redskins 41

   Most of the Redskins Players were already headed to the locker  room  before the score.. The head Coach ran out   , but not  to shake Hands..he  Yelled  ay Sims  calling Him Bush League, and damn rookie  coach ..ect ect..Sims just kept  pointing up at the score board as he  greeted some of the players he had  met, who did'runaway' into the  locker Room

   Yuto Came on the field with Colton, and shook hands  with Bronk who was grinning away, He introduce Colton to the small WR, a large BAlck guy from the Redskins  came Over  and greeted  them, Shaking Bronk and Yuto's  hands, The Black man was Greg Horns and was a 2nd team Guard..he had  played DIII against Yuto and  Bronk, while  playing FOR  Sims  when they were in college.

 Yay know?.. I've been on this  team for 2 years.. I told them Sims  would keep pouring it on if they quit..told them that Coach hated quitters, no matter what  team your on...and he punishes  quitters!

Colton was grinning when the team finally won, at least, according to the buzzer; they'd likely won the game before the fourth quarter even started if you go by the score deficit. Shaking hands with anyone who would have it, he congratulated them all on a well played victory. When he was stopped by Bronk and the Redskin player, he chuckled at what the man said and nodded, pointing at the scoreboard. "Clearly someone didn't listen very well, huh? It was still a good game, if a bit... lopsided," he grinned. He could already tell he was going to do well on this team.

  Yuto told  Greg,..i know i cannot say certain things to you...about jobs... but..should you find yourself released.. you may want to call us....

 Greg Horn smiled,Sure be nice to play for Coach again... i won't say anyhtong, but if that happens..you bet   I'll call!

 Bronk, Colton and Yuto began  making their way to the tunnel, greeting  dragon players and  smiling..the last few Redskins who stayed were  just about gone.

Ben capered at the final score, then shook hands with everybody he saw as he made his way off the field.

As the final second ticked off Steele smiled, then clapped shoulder pads and exchanged handshakes and fist bumps with anyone who came near him. Not too many Redskins had stuck around though, so there wasn't much opportunity to speak to anyone there. James stuck around for a minute or two and then headed for the showers.
