Heather goes over to Smokey and says," Well i am glad you are here Smokey you have helped me out a lot, and I thank you for that even though it gave you less playing time you went out of your way to be nice and helpful not many players on other teams would do that for another kicker especially a female one. Hey if it wheren't for you and Adam I would have dropped that 2 pt conversion." Heather gives Smokey a hug a kiss on the cheek and then she sits back down again.

  Smokey smiles  a bit  , he looks  a bit  embarrassed.well.. its the  team thing  right..bad  karma  to  not help   teammates...

 then he smiled at Adam,you know? there are three  department stores that  are  going to carry my  'portable Zen garden' in thier stores  and websites!...all that from a shoebox   filled with sand from  cigarette  ash trays!

 Adam   chuckles  as he goes back to his paper,Karma ..right?   take something from something that kills  people, and made it into  making something that helps people?

 Heather smiled at Smokey and said," Well not all players are like you Smokey and we only want good Karma on this team."

 Heather smiles and giggles at the conversation Adam and Smokey had. Heather was about to say more when Mic asked if anyone wanted to go see the falls. Heather smiled and said," Hey that sounds great, but I need to change I don't think my tank top and shorts or my sweats will do me any good out in that cold."

Ben looked up.

"But it's cold out there...

 Heather giggled again and said," Oh my Ben you need to really work on getting use to cold weather, you should have gone to college with me in Maine then this wouldn't feel so bad. Go put on some warm clothes and join us, Adam you coming ?"

  Adam  looked an MiK ,..you know..its  frozen , by now..right?.. didn't you see them from your side of the boarder?

 .Comon!... they might be frozen..don't know how  cold its been  here the last  few weeks ?..but that's   good too?.. anyone here ever  seen  The Falls Frozen?  Comon..ya

 Heather smiled and said," Oh wow I have never seen the Falls frozen that might be so cool, yes come on Adam come with us."
Heather than said," Okay going to go change be back in a few minutes."

 Heather went up to her room, she found a warm shirt, then a nice and tight sweater, then a pair of tight jeans, she got her winter coat and a pair of nice and warm gloves. She grabbed her purse and headed back down stairs.

 Heather came back down fairly quickly and then said," Okay I am ready who is going to see the frozen falls?"

  Smokey wasn't going anywhere that didn't have a fireplace! In the  end  , only  a few  Players  were going to go.. Yuto  ordered up a  small bus, and told the driver  he pay  after   the day was  done, in case the players wanted ot ogo else where.

 The wind was  whipping  around,  large  wet snow  flakes  came down...

 Adam   Pulled his   jacket around him and  shook his  head,..should have stayed in the Hotel and watched  Captain Lighting...

 Mik   whapped him on the back,You just want to  watch your  bit o' fluff ...

 see?..another  reason to stay inside...

 Mic  Grabbed   Adam's      Jacket  and pulled him along

 Heather was wrapped up and said," Oh I will watch her as well, she is amazing." She snickered and then grabbed Adam's other arm," Come on big superstar, lets go have some fun in the snow, I bet it is pretty frozen do they put lights on it?"

 Heather would walk Adam onto the bus and smile at Mic and say," Damn pussies can't take a little cold huh Mic?" She laughs and gives Mic a high five. Heather will smile at Adam and say," Hey you know the more time you spend in the cold the better you will be in the game, so may as well get use to the cold and have some fun with your teammates." Heather gave him a smile and a teammate slap on the back and took a seat.

  Adam Nodded    as he was  dragged into the   bus,yeah yeah ..you know i'm only doing this  'casue you  guys   came to my Buddy's    Bar to help them out...

 Mic   fuzzed  Adam   hat  as he sat down,..comon  ya  Skeet ya... you played
  almost a whole year in the CFL..this was   warm in Saskatchewan..

  Adam   Looked at his  buddy and gave his head a shake.. I didn't like it!.. I don't know what i  do if they traded  me to Greenbay!..I might go back to the CFL for a  warm place like   BC!... and..You aren't insulting me  , by calling me Skeet.... that's what i was.. and I'm proud of that!

   He pointed to the North west of the hotel..we played  for Hamilton!..we were right over there!!..what..100 miles, not even?.. Toronto is  right up the bleedin'  river!... you been in this  before...Quit acting like some   southern  wimp!

 Heather chuckles," You can hit corner backs and get hit hard and get up but cant handle a day in the cold, it will be fun."

  The people who were going got in the bus, and   Mik  told the Driver to go to the Falls...

 Heather had hoped Smokey would try but he was way too much Southern Cali for sure. She would look at the weather and the sites as the headed for the falls.

Ben reluctantly put on a sweater, with a Dragons hoodie on top of that and then the coat he had bought in New York. He had a woolly Dragon green hat with a bobble on top too, and a pair of wool gloves which only just fitted on to his large hands.

He climbed into the bus grumbling about being cold.

  The Reached the falls in about  20 minutes, the   morning  rush hour traffic  had  stopped  and they pulled in..the ships  weren't  running, so they  went to the Observation  dec..about  3/4 of the   falls were frozen, a Guide  told them, at night , they are lit up...

 the    Giant ice  and   the frozen bottom made for good  pics,    Mik got    the Guide to  take pics   with his cell phone  then paid  for  a set of pics  to be sent to the hotel.

  Mik pointed to the  the west a bit.. see that  Grey White  area? That';s  Hamilton, that's were  me  an Bronk played  for the CFL.. if we had passports and stuff  I'd  take you over of a look see...but  we don't  have the  time.

 Now..since everyone  'cept  Adam, was good sports  about this.. we're gonna  go to  a fancy eats place, on me!!

  Adam looked at the  FAlls...what time  do the lights  come on?

 the guide says,..this time of year, around  6:00-7:00  depend how fast it gets  dark...

Ben stamped his feet.

"Is it always so cold here?" he asked plaintively.

 Heather had never seen the Falls before, she got out and was amazing by the falls and it was frozen. She took a ton of pictures with her phone and then asked the guide to take a few of her and her teammates in front of the frozen falls. Heather smiled and said," This is awesome Mic, so you guys played over there, pretty cool."

 Heather listened when the guide said the lights would come on around 6-7 tonight, Heather said," Oh we need to come back and see the falls all lit up, I need to see that guys." When Mic says his treat at a fancy eats place Heather would say," Damn if I knew that I would have worn a good dress. Thank you Mic so where are you taking us, and can we come back to see the Falls lit up later, it is amazing." Heather smiled and giggled some.

  Mik gets the driver to take them to Bacchus   wine bar  and restaurant. ..we  get there, Bud? You come in with us. Right? no sittin' in a cold bus when you can have some hot
 food .eh?

  Entering the    diner,  Mik  waves his  hand  around  at the  people  there,   and they  send them into a back area, all for themslves.

 Adam looked over the Menu  and Picked the  Double Cut  Pork chops, with fried  tomato starter..along  with  Coke

 others  were getting steaks, couple of them  got Crispy Calamari and Rock Shrimp the bus  driver got Free rnage Chiken , he was smilign wide, getting to sit and eat with por football players!

 Heather walked in and took a seat, she looked over the menu and ordered the Berry Salad, and the Bacchus Bouillboise, and a glass of Moscato wine. She will give Mik a hug and say," Thank you for this, this place is really nice I love a good bouillbaise." Heather smiled and waited for her drink.

  Adam   looked  around,so, how do you know about places like this?

 Mik shurgged,we play home games.. here peopel talkign about the wings?... wings?  what the  9 hells?..I want food.. so  we'd  come over a  few  times a month. check out the eats..hook up with  some  American  women?... then go back home, fat and happy...

 Adam   looked  again,..you never    asked  me along?

 Heather smiles and says," Well this place is great, glad you found it. Adam all work and no play will make you grumpier than you are." She giggles and smiles at Adam. It felt great to be out with teammates and just having a good time, Heather was very happy right now.

  Adam    laughs   as he  drink  come  out, the waitress  handing out   drinks to .what  good  is   an Adam Bronk who isn't  grumpy

  Mik   smiled,..the little Skeet Averaged one enemy injury a game...

  there was  a  opening of his arms,Only those who   tried to cheap shot  the 'Little Amercan '.... others  i just hit   like a football player.

 The Driver  said,..You Guys  played in the CFL?

 Mik smiled,..I played   9 years  for Hamliton.. this  'Hoser  come lately '  played done  year...everyone else  are pure  Bred  NFL.

 Adam's  head  tilted back...Played   1  season and  a half In Japan...

 they have football there?

 yeah..pretty good players?.. lots of  Americans  and Europe  folks.. it was great.. I was one of the tall ones!

 Heather smiled at Adam, " Hey Adam remember I am taller than you are." She turns to the Driver,and adds," I came through Woman's Soccer Sir, I kicked for my little college in Maine they where the only school in the Northeast that would let me kick for them, and had a football team. But hey we are all here together and together we are the New Jack Dragons."

"At least it's warm in here," said Ben removing several layers of clothing and looking at the menu.

"Looks good... I'll have the panko-crusted Ahi tuna and some red wine, please."

He wished Lu-Ti was here. Looked like the sort of place she'd enjoy.

  the food  came, and people  began to  eat.. the Driver  was  about as happy as could be.

  Adam was enjoying his steaks and sides..going to be a long week here... I don't think Sims  will let us use the Dome to practice in...Unless the Bills, flat out don't  let us into the stadium.. off  time  we'll need to stick around the hotel  or get taxi's , no one goign to want to walk around  at night.... i think the high , up until  thursday is only going to be 12.... and the low -15...then you toss the wind  in?
