  The players  watched   and  yelled, they  were rotting for the Bills, because they didn't like the  Texans .

   The Bills  weren't doing great, but it seemed  like they were starting to  take  control a bit..it was nearing Half time  it was 14-14 But the Bills  were driving  in the  2 minute drill.

 Charlie  was  sad.. it  was  0-0 in the Bears  Jets  game  with 1:54 left in the half, they had some snow there as well.

 Adam was getting into the   scouting. he had notes  down as he watched, calling out where the Bills  'should' go when he saw the Texan's  Defense up The new Caoch for the Texans  had  changed things up a little, but he couldn't change the whole play book..and he was  still stuck with Mosh.

 Heather noticed they where getting close she kissed Peg again then straightened herself up some before they got to the Hotel. Heather gives the cabby a $100 and says keep the change, she then looks at Peggy," We have about 30 minutes if you want to come upstairs and help me finish packing, or you can head home Peg." She smiles gives her a kiss, opens the door gets out smiles at Adam, and says to Charlie," Hi Charlie great meeting you."

 Heather looks at Peg and waits for her decision, of course any more time with her would be great. Heather took her hand and smiled at her.

 Heather  got out , P)eg followed  her out    to teh Door, ignoring the Doorman that was   still smiling and chatting with  Charlie.

  , No?  Maybe the dining  room for a few minutes. then I'm going to go home..Doorman?  Hold My Cab...

 Meanwhile , Adam   waved  the cab on...

 She can grab another one..  this  kid's  waiting to get his ride home...

 Peg glared  at the door man, then shifted the  same Glare to Adam , as he waved the Black forward.. the  Driver, not  wanting to get mixed up in anything took  off.

  Charlie  picked up his   bag and   high fived the  doorman   and walked to the   car as the shotgun guy greeted  Adam with  handshake.Make sure he gets in the  hosue ok.. we texted  his Mom he was coming home soon.., just incase they are there yet..

 Peg  waited until Adam was in hearing range , after he waved   to Charlie...You there? You'll have a CAb waiting for me when I come out and...

 Adam hand is hands in his jean  pockets,..no he won't.. his job is to call for a Cab  when you're  ready to go... Cabbies have to make a Living, they can't be  waiting on you, unless you'll pay that meter..second? In about 15 Minutes  two buses  are pulling up, for us to get equipment and bag in for us to get to that little airport so we  can get to Buffalo..  he smiled  and walked on...

 Sorry Ma'am..he's right..i have to keep mthe  roundabout clear? even if  I call a Cab it will have to meet ytu at the street, unless you wait  for the Busses  to leave

 Peg looked  frustrated,she called  after Adam,..I can buy and Sell you, Bronk!

 Heather watched in horror, she hadn't seen this side of Peg yet, and she didn't like it at all. She was like other rich girls thought they where better than others, Heather didn't like that at all.

 Heather looked at her with a sad face, Heather looked at Adam with a I am sorry look on her face. Heather thought she might have found the right woman for her but again utter failure. Heather then said," No Peg sorry we had a great time, but you shouldn't treat good people just doing their jobs like that, and you never, ever say anything like that to my teammate. I think it is time for you to go home Peg, I really thought you could be the one, good bye Peg."

 Heather looks at the Doorman and says," Sir please call her a cab she is leaving now." Heather will then run into the Hotel and head for her room running by everyone in the Hotel Lobby.

  There is a knock on Heather's Door. Adam   and Mik are there...Hey, Lady, Look... I'm sorry... Houser  is a big name on the west side...  I didn't mean to mess stuff up... I wanted  the Kid  to see  we're all just  working folks, you know?...

 Heather had got to her room, she wanted to cry but she should have known when she found out Peg was that rich she would be like the other rich girls she has met. She shook her head straight and got all her stuff ready, and then sat on her bed.

 She heard the knock came to the door and opened it, she wondered if it was Peg, but it Adam and Mik.  Heather actually smiled and said," Hey better I found out now she was a bitch, plus no one says that to my teammate. You stood up for me, I of course should stand up for you. I really hoped we could have had something special together, but oh well I will find my Miss Right someday."

 Heather smiled at Mik and said," Yeah I only saw the good side at first then I saw the darker side of her today, yeah my Mom knows a lot of vets, she shouldn't treat anyone like that, why are the cute ones always stuck up bitches. Maybe I should go find myself a tattooed, pierced dyke and have fun."

 Heather smiled at Adam and said," Thank you Adam, and it is okay I don't blame you ,I blame her."

 Heather smiled at Mik and said," I am good thank you Mik, I will be fine."

 Heather took a deep breath grabbed her stuff and headed downstairs to wait for the Bus and the rest of the team. She would check her phone while she waited to see if Peg sent her anything.

  The Bills  beat the Texans.. the big game tonight was  the Colts and Cowboys.. neither of thsoe  teams could afford to lose, though the Dragons helped the Cowboys  out a bit.

 The Chargers  were on a roll as well...they were playing at 4:00,Adam would  watch that  with soem interest, the Chargers were chasing them for best record at 8-1 if they won? they would be 9-1

  The were  winning  right now, and  Adam sat  with his  duffle and backpack next to him watching the Game, most others were burned out  from watching and  stood in the   lobby or got some  , brisk, cold  air  while the Busses  were loaded.

 Heather put her stuff so they could put it on the bus and then she came and sat down with Adam and watched the game. " Hey how are things shaping up in football this wonderful Sunday?" Heather was down because of what happened with Peg and she wasn't sure if she was ever going to talk too or see her ever again and it upset Heather. Maybe she was too harsh, maybe should have let her explain how she was acting but it was obvious to Heather she was acting like a spoiled rich bitch.

   Adam smiled, as he  watched the game,well? The Chargers  are  doing a bit better then Denver.. they'll win, i think. keepign tghem a Game behind us   for that #1  seed...be nice to  play the whole offseason in Florida!

The Colts  don't play until tonight... be nice if they lost,  so we can  try to get a grip on the divison..right now? if  either of those  teams  Tie us, we'll have the tie breakers in our back pocket.

 um..in the famous  words of an old time  New Yorker.. 'how you doin'?"

 Heather listened to the scores yes they wanted teams to loose so they would have a better chance of getting the number one seed.  Heather smiled and listened and then Adam asked her how she was doing. Heather had it written all over her face, she was upset and bummed.

 Heather looked at him and said," I am okay, we had a great time yesterday and last night Peg was wonderful and nice. We had a wonderful fun and exciting evening together, and then today she was so different from the time we left here, to lunch and then with you and the Doorman. It was like she was a different person Adam. I was starting to really like her, but I always seem to fall for the spoiled rich bitch types. Well now I wont have any distractions and just play football, I still have my Mom and my teammates."

 Heather smiled at Adam and took his hand, " Thank you for being a good friend Adam, maybe I should have given her.... , no I couldn't I can't be with anyone who treats people like that. Sorry Adam the female kicker is getting all mushy, I will be fine thank you again."

  Adam smiled a bit, it was a sad sort of  smile,I came from the   wrong  side of Town..my Mom worked all the time, my Dad worked the docks, hardly saw him, between the two of them? they may have seen me play one football game..ever.. My Dad  died on the docks..i think the Mob got him...My Mom is..who the 9 hells knows?...

  One thing i did  learn? if some one  from outside your circle pops in..you don't know what you're  getting?.. Lana?.. she went to  a 'good  high school' we kicked thier ass ever time  we played them, but  those  kids went to   Big time colleges, and are walkign around in suits... our School? the  'good kids" got  jobs  as Bank tellers  or manager at a grocery store

 he kept his eyes  on the TV  as the chargers  seemed to be moving the ball again...Houser?...some of her Dad's people, broke alot of legs of kid's parents , ,or  kids themselves? there were some gang fights?...sometimes  our gangs  would join up and take down a few of the 'collectors'.. now? I don't know a damn thing, right? But i would bet alot of money, that her   ex boyfriend was selling drugs from his dinky little hotdog stand...and managed to  wormed his way into  Houser's  bed and thought he was 'safe"...

 ..now?  as  my Unofficial  role as Team leader, let me say this,..play football.. you only have  a limited time to do that...worry about  GFs   when you have the time.... I have never met a GF yet, that signs my paycheck..

 Heather listened carefully, there was alot more to Peg and her family then she knew. Then she said," I guess I should have done more checking on her, but I did have some fun. Thank you Adam I will just play football if I meet someone I meet someone, and you are right a GF hasn't paid my paycheck yet."

 Heather checks out the game and then says," Well we are hitting crunch time need to focus on football, my game, and the team, thanks Adam your a good guy and a great teammate." Heather gives him a friendly hug and then watches the game.

     Ben and  Lu-Ti entered teh Hotel with  15 minutes to spare, Lu-ti didn'[t have to hurry , because she  had to stay in New York until Monday night , to  deal with some team issues.


  Yuto told the  players and   other  team members that thier  pay would   be deposited  in the  Accounts  Monday Morning, just as if they had  played a Sunday game.. Yuto also reminded   Adam   his  would be  docked  for the fine.

  once any questions were  answered the Team moved to the planes, Payne and Worth saying  good bye to their  wives.. all over the country  Teammates  were boarding  planes to fly to Buffalo .

  Yuto didn't like this, too many moving parts, but if it did not work out, they would not do this again.

 Heather smiled got her stuff and got onto the bus and headed for the plane for their journey to Buffalo. She checked her phone she would call her Mom when she got to Buffalo, she would get onto the plane once settled she got out her laptop and watched the Buffalo game watching how they covered kickoffs, extra points and Field Goal attempts. She would smile at everyone and just wonder if she was too harsh on Peg, it was going so well but she couldn't be with someone who was like that, oh well she had fun though. Heather would concentrate on the Bills she was a football player after all.

Ben kissed Lu-Ti before rushing upstairs to pack ultra-fast and was down in plenty of time for the bus.

   The Bus was  more quiet the normal, with  so many players  and support  folks scattered  across the Country

 Mik sat  near Adam, the Wideout  asked  Mik,why didn't you go home for the break?

 Mik grinned,Its a pain with that  passport thing goin' on. Besides? I seen Canada  all my live, this w2as only my second trip to new York..no better time then Thanksgiviunbg week end ta visit...

  At the smaller  airport one  Amota Airlines plane  waited for them.. Sims  said  goodbye to his  wife, who would be  flying back to Jacksonville   with Mr and Mrs  Amota.

 Lu-Ti said  goodbye to  Ben..The  Cheerleaders wouldn'tbe permitted on the sidelines again, and the forecast was too  cold  to have them in Buffalo, so  they were going   the Jacksonville  as well, to  do  thier   Hospital Visits and make some  appearances   for   various opening  and special things  going on in town.

    As they boarded the plane, and  people  foundplacesto sit,   Sims looked around the   small gathering,I will being  this Up several times  during the  week, but the forcase is  to be haeavy snow  from thursday to  Saturday, with Sunday being   in single Digits  and  wind chill factor   close to -20   .. when we practice this week..i want your to try out various  Underarmor  and gloves .. we  are have alkready rented extra  torpedo  heaters  to be  delivered   saturday night to the  statium , to our locker  room...No mucho  stuff.. you stay warm, you wear your   capes  when you are on the  sidelines...we get through this  game, we get to see  alot of warm weather, Unless Tennesse is cold... but?  Buffalo will be cold... so..out focus is there... we need to tell Yuto what you want, so he can  have it on site  for game day...

 The Bills   had  beaten the texans.... The chargers  were 1:00 away from beating  the Broncos...and the Colts  would be playign in an hour or so.

Ben didn't like the sound of that. Far too cold for him.

 Heather was going to find the warmest clothes she could that is for sure, practicing in the snow will help though.

  As the Plane    Neared  Buffalo International,  Yuto  and Sims  made announcements,.Attention.. we will be landing at Buffalo International in about  an hour.... we will take  the busses Staybridge Suites,about  40 minutes of so From New Era  Field. The Bills are allowing  us access to the field for 3  hours  everyday from Tuesday until saturday , Saturday we  will have walk -through time ..Our times  are from 4:00 to 7:00 PM..which, no doubt , is to make it harder on us  to set a schedule...but we will have  meetings in the hotel conferance rooms  from 7:00AM  until Lunch time...the rest of the time you may use the Hotel's  Gym to work out. 

 Tomorrow is  Monday... a normal off day for us... You want to see  sights,  Make sure you are  back by 10 PM, if you are not at the hotel by 10:00pm..you will be fined, and your playign time  will be re-examined. If you have  problems, Yu call Yuto or Myself... You are Adults, you are Pros.. I expect you to  act like it...If thgis gamne woudl have been earier, we would have stayed  down Jacksonville, but  i wanted us to get used to the Cold..if all goes right, this should be   our last Northern game of the season...

 Yuto then spoke up,..The Hotel is ours... we booked the  whole of the Building.. we have some Media people who are payign us to stay there..so, becarfeful what you do. We purposefully, left the  1st and 2nd  floor Vacant, with the idea  of  any    'freidns of the tean' come in , they will have  rooms.. The Bills  Have no be a great enemy  of the Dragons, bvut they have noit be the greatest of friends...keep that in mind, as the game  grows  closer

 Heather listens to Coach and Yuto, Heather decided she wasn't going to go out, she was going to stay in workout, watch film and get ready for the game on Sunday. Of course Heather wanted to find a girlfriend, she had a lot of fun with Peg but something didn't seem right. Everything was so new and exciting for Peg at first, then after they had sex she completely changed, she should let her go and move on plus she should fine someone who lives in Jacksonville honestly.  Once the speeches where over Heather went back to watching the Bills special teams, she will check her phone for any messages though.

"Does the hotel have a swimming pool?"

He could use exercise machines and weights if he had to, but swimming and running were his favourite forms of exercise, and he wasn't running in this weather!

  Yuto  nods,Yes  , Ben..there is a Pool, smaller then what we have  at  the Lair, and there is a small  gym with running machines  and  free weights.

 Adam had on the over eha d TV , the pregame show for the  Colts cowboy games.. 2 of the studio guys picked the Colts, one picked the Cowboys.

  at the field the Woman  who was the host, said,Every game in the NFL is important..you only get 16..so each lost sets you back.. some games, however..hurt more, and impact more   then others.... Tonight's game is one of those games... The Cowboys  were crushed By the  Dragons who 'Hung a Hundred' on them... The Colts Lost to the Dragons  earlier this year...Common opponents may come into play...

 Ex-QB  of the 'at the field' team  nodded as he said,Dragons  beat the Colts  rather  soundly so they gave a GAme and  1/2 in thier pocket. ..The Colts cannot  afford to lose, as long  as the Dragons keep winning..simple  fact..

I was hoping they would cut  me slack  since  the kicker was a woman and so am I?

 ..But.. Adam admitted  he was wrong..he's payign hisfine.. tapped from his paycheck so the NFL has  Records  that it is his money..He hasn't said anymore  about it..I have seen  players act  with less Class, for worst things

  Adam shook his head  at the  TV  screen,so?  I'm chasing Ben for most catches  and Yards... I have a decent amount of TD receptions...but, what do they talk about? Me  pulling a  Reporter  out of  our sidelines..and..what ever chick happens to decide they might like me...

 Mik Grinned, I dunno if  I kin play again nex season...CFL was a bit hard on me bones... But i'd sure like to say i played in teh Superbowl..Ya know,,I Played in the Grey Cup twice.. we lost both times..sure be nice to  win a 'Big ONe'..before I'm Done.

  Adam Grabbed his bags,Don't think on it too hard.... there are levels?  right?.. 1st Level.. win the divison ...2nd  Level..get that  Home field all the way through..3 level.. beat everyone you play, to get to the Super bowl...and 4th?   win the damn game!

 Santos  came over  and GAve    Heather  a smile and said to Adam..Yeah well?.. we can still get there   if  we don't meet a couple of those steps?

 Adam waved it off,yeah? that's the long way around?...but two things  don't change. no matter  if you #1 seed.. or  lowest wildcard.... you have to win the Title  game, to get to the Superbowl...then you have to win that game, to be  the Champ...

 Heather watched special teams play for the Bills and then when the guys where talking Heather said," Well lets just keep winning then everything will fall into place right. I would love for the playoffs to go through New Jack City. We just play our best and listen to Adam and Coach, train hard and NEVER get use to winning we will kick ass."

 Heather smiles at Santos, he was very nice too bad she wasn't into men at all.
