The  two men  nodded to  Adam who was  waiting outside the door  to see Yuto.

   putting his  arm Around   Heather  as  they head to the door, he said in a Low  voice,we have our  own Private Investigators   that came here from Japan.. we use them for  all of our Businesses..they are very thorough..but they are also in  Oregon and Jacksonville  right now.. we had no one in New York this weekend...

Adam went off    whistling loud,Grab running shoes, I get footballs... those who don't want to run outside,  , we can use thier Gym and Pool, go! Move!

 Heather smiled as Yuto talked to her, she nodded as he talked about their own investigators., and they didn't have to make up an injury, and we where lucky they came to us. Heather responds," Thank you Yuto, I am glad I can still play, that is all that matters to me Sir that I can still play for the Dragons."

 After Yuto talked about she would be listed as a LGBT player she smiled and replied," Thank you that will be great the programs will say that, and yeah Adam said about the same thing I will just be me, play football and then see if someone comes looking for me. Thank you Yuto for everything I felt much better with you here for this, also it is just puzzling why those pictures where taken to me, maybe someone wanted to blackmail Peg for some reason. Well if I hear from her you will be the first to know sir." Heather gave him a friendly hug of thanks as Adam walked to the door.

 Heather smiled at Adam and said," Yes they where they just wanted to talk to me about some things that happened in New York but we are good, if you want to hear it tonight over a few drinks I will tell you okay Adam." Heather liked Adam as a friend , and it was good to have friends.

 After Adam talks about the College she adds," Yeah I was in the Hotel gym and it is okay but would love a full pool to swim in, I will grab my suit and meet you in the Dinning area okay Adam."

 Heather will wait for any responses from Yuto or Adam and then head to her room to get her swim suit.

   when  time  came, a medium Bus pulled up, there were  24  players ,plus Yuto, who was  decked out in a Mellon  Hoodie   and Tossle hat and Dragon  sweat pants

   Adam looked  around, Duke, Payne and worth were there  MAchins  was there,  Miles, Sloan, wheeler  and Higgins were there  as well as  felix Dons the #2  Tight end.

 Lucas    was there   and Klay. Mik  was  half asleep next to   Cruz   and Santos. Smokey was  all Bundled up.

 Baily was there , with Bright  , Jers  and Rodgers, and a few others  towards the back.alright Guys?... we're going to a micky mouse college  whose   football team folded up  about  15 years ago... Use the   Gym..use  the Pool... I'm goign outside to  sun in the snow and  she if someone will throw the ball with me...whatever you chose  to do.. you got   about 3 hours  to do it.. then we come back here.... Don't be dumbasses... clean up after yourself, we  don't want the Buffalo Papers  saying we're bums..

 the  players  made  joske  like..'ok   Uncle  Adam' and things like that..and the Bus was on the way.

 Heather came back down in a sweat shirt and pants carrying her gym bag. She actually put her bikini on and was wearing it under her sweats. When Adam was done talking she would say," Umm guys, I guess I am one of the guys, I might run in the cold as well help me get use to it for the game, hey you guys run around and move a lot I just stand on the sidelines and wait to kick, I do get colder. Thank you so much Uncle Adam, your not old enough to be my dad, plus he is in jail." She giggles like a girl and smiles and laughs with the other guys.

 Heather walks over to Smokey and says," Hey Smokey it isn't that cold out there, I guess to much Southern California in your blood huh, glad I grew up in Boston." Heather gets on the bus and checks her phone.

Ben turned up for the coach as well, dressed in a Dragons hoodie and sweat pants and carrying his gym bag.

"I hate the cold but I'm going to have to play in it, so training in it makes sense... anyway I hate running on a machine, it's not the same as stretching my legs on a track. Thanks for arranging this, Adam."

  Adam shrugged,we all ned to get out there..The Bills  have been practicing  normally, and played a game, by the time  we play it will be10 days since  we last played?... and the practices  we had  where like this.. a Handful of  dragons...This might be our toughest game yet..

  Adam went tot eh pool after they ate... he   had to change into  'gymshort' type  swim suit, but he     just lowered himself   in the Pull.. he stayed   in the middle or more  shalllow  end, Yuto  was  swimming  fast...

  smokey was too.

   Santos   was grinning  at  Adam,hey, com padre?  you can't  swim?

 Adam shook his  head,..not real good?   I can , probably , not  drown .. but  i'm not going   to beat anyone  in a race...

 Santos chuckled,what you gonna  do when you  are in Cali , on the beach with  your chick?

 Adam shrugs,..don't have to swim..just splash around and look good... I look as good  as most of  actor  guys...

 yeah , well  You should    learn man...

  Yuto    swam over  easily  and   wiped his  face with his hand...Lu-Ti and I were on swim team in highschool.. we swam  out  first two years  at Mellon, but didn't have time  for  that and football... Adam, has  had  some... 'experiences'  with  the rivers in New York...so it  effected him some.

 .yeah..being  around the Docks  isn't  a good thing for a kid.... you're not supposed to  come back if gangers throw you off the dock.

Ben turned up too, quite happy to take a second swim.

"You want to learn, Adam? I'll teach you."

  I'll pass for now? I'll wait to the   off season to try and kill myself!... Go have   fun, I'l just   doing the water  thing   to work on my jumps,  I want to get one more inch on  my vertical

 Santos  looked,thgat  helps, the  Jumpign in water....?

yep.. easier on your joints.. I  run in the water too, its  like suing thsoe parachute things.

 Heather was doing laps when everyone came in, she finished a set of laps and then went to the side of the pool. She smiled at the guys, and then when Adam said he couldn't swim, Heather stopped and was about to offer to teach him when Ben offered and Adam refused till the off season. Heather will add," Hey Adam swimming is great for almost every muscle group, strengthens your legs, and upper body it is a great workout, you should learn it is great. I also swam a lot to train for soccer, swimming builds up great endurance, plus it makes my legs look great do you guys agree?"

 Heather then got out of the pool in her bikini smiled at the guys and looked around to see if they had a sauna, if they did she could sit in there for a few and then swim so more.

   Santos  Nodded  as he checked out   Heather. Adam   Kept  doing his    water   Jumps.

  there was a small sauna, room for about  6 people

 Heather caught Santos checking her out, she was flattered, and he was cute but guys just didn't do it for Heather if they did she would be interested in a lot of her teammates. She finds the sauna, she sets it up, grabs a towel and enters the Sauna, she set it for 15 minutes. She puts the towel down and then lays on the towel on her back, she will lay there, and relax and let the heat help her sore muscles.

 the last buit of time went  by, adam took a hot shower  and  dried off, making  sure his sweats were  tight and Hood up over his  stocking Cap

 he sat  in the entrance to the  Gym waiting for the bus to come, after  getting a  cup of coffee to go..he sipped it watching the snow  blow  around outside the  doors, it was chilly in the  main entrance.

 Heather got out of the sauna, and then swam for the rest of her hour, she would then dry off and put her sweats back on, and get ready to head back to the Hotel. She would also grab a coffee for the ride to the Hotel.

Ben swam a bit more then got out, showered and dressed in his sweats for the ride home, well, back to the hotel anyway.

  the   Players  Piled into  the  Bus..  the  bus was a bit warm as the driver had to drive over to pick them up.

  the winds  were not  warm.

  Anyone who  dosen't wear   a face mask on sunday or at practcie is   a dumbass....Remember  Coach  Sim's  rule... be comrfortable  so yuou can play..no  ice-heroes
 this week.

 Smokey?    there's  no damn way the trainers  are going to let Wills  run in weather like this.. be  ready to see reps  at wideout..

 Heather nodded at Adam, a yes response. Heather was going to dress as warm as she could without interfering with her ability to kick the ball. She will then look at her phone,check her messages and look up the weather again for Sunday in Buffalo, hoping it might change to better weather, she couldn't wait to kick in a normal weather game.

Ben scuttled inside and went in seach of a large mug of hot chocolate. He asked the coaches if they could arrange flasks of hot drinks on the sidelines come Sunday.

   Sims  and the coaches  were sitting around a table  eating , and  going over  , what Sims  and  Cal thought  would be   a good  foundation for thier   gameplan.

 When  Ben game in he  nodded,we'll see  what the Equipment guys can  come up with, as  far  as  Hot  Chocolate and...maybe tea. we'll see about   Hot chicken or Beef  broth for half  time......  wedensday were getting a few cases of  'hotpockets'   in  for you  guts   to  use in your  gloves  or  hand  warmers .

 ..if this  weather holds, its going to be a damn cold  game...But?   we  go back  down to   JAcksonville right after, and our  next game is in Miami..

 Fry was  eating  some eggs as he  was looking through som stats   sheets,going to be something, for sure... The Bills, are at a disadvantage, they were down texas.. we  were  up north   these  last  2  weeks... it might take the Longer to get  with it.

 Adam  saw  Steele in an easy chair   reading the Buffalo papers , with  the stories of the Bills  Texan game.

 Sitting down by  Steele, he stared  at the guy...The QB looked at him,what?

 why didn't you come out today... it would have been good for the guys to see you..and   a few others  may have  come as well...

 .Comon  man? It was our off  day!

we've been off  since    thursday!..We had a get together  at Mellon.. then  we did  this one.. the  Bills  are coming in, right on schedule.... and we're   all  fat and Lazy  from a mini-bye!

..you really think one   half-assed  practice    is gonna make a difference?

 how the 9 hells  did you get people  to follow you at Michigan?.. The    practice   was  fun..damn cold..but it was  fun... the  guys that went got   some  work in... and hit the Gym and   the  College  sized pool...You sure Don't act like  a 1st round draft  choice...

 Yeah?..Well.. You  act  like a free agent, wannabe  who  thinks he should  have been one!

 Adam nodded,..that's  why i'm good.....we'll see what happens  to you tomorrow  at practcie..maybe  i'm wrong..maybe you're  just so damn good, you make us all look bad...

 He got  up   and  went to a Table to get something to eat  and watch ESPN

Ben still felt cold. He was looking forwards to getting back to Florida. At a bit of a loose end, he sat down to watch TV.

 Heather came in and took a seat, she was feeling pretty good the swim was great and she could feel it and she liked it. She come into the Dinning area, got some food, found a place to sit and watched ESPN to see what they where saying now.

  Beginning to thaw out, Adam enjoyed the Coffee  as he watched the   ESPN  News. There were clips of each game  from Sunday. Talk about the  49ers  and  the Seahawk monday night game, But  Adam  was only mildy interested , there was a good bet he'd  watch,  if they didn't go out  some place. He was  sure if he wanted to   see Buffalo in the cold  and snow  anyway.

 Then talk of  Division race  came ... Cowboys and Giants were the big talk, One older  Studio guy seemed disgusted  at how   the Giants suffered injuries  and   suspensions  , while the   Dragons 'got off' scott  free.

 An Black , ex-player    laughed     as he  had been a Wideout in the league for  11 years,  and said, the Dragons are changing the way football  will be played..it it was  fun to see a Wide receiver   dish some  hits out , for a change.

 Adam  smiled  as the guy said that and   looked  up at the screen.. The woman on the show  said,

 Well, Lets  look at this?...We  Got Duke Fillings..he started  a total of 12 games
 in 10 years...now he's  crushing the stat lines and he  only throws for   a half, or  3
 quarters!

 The Older guy argued,TRaht's because he couldn't make it through the whole game!

 the  Wideout said,..you know what?... If i have a QB who can crush the stat line, and pile up wins, and i only  HAVE TO...play him  1 half?.. I'm saving him, he does more in  his 'half' then  every one else  does  in  1 game..maybe in 2 games!

 The Point is... This isn't  pro football..its...its  a sideshow...  with thier  Dragons song  and  dancing...

 The woman smiled    as she  was   pushing papers   around on her part of the Desk..lets see if  we can....get these.... highlights up.. shall we...

 First..there were at least  7 of Ben's  TD  catches... Going Up over  Safeties,  to getting open and the seam and  running the ball in.

 Then Adam , flat out  running  and  hauling in deep balls  or  catching   one and  getting  Jacks  up, only to jump up with the Ball  shouting     and , Lining up for the next play.

  tapes of  Duke  dropping back..sometimes with no pressure, other  times  being hit  as he let the ball go to Ben, MAchins  or Adam.

  then there were   shots  of Payne  Crushing    Running backs.. wheeler  shutting down the  outside.. Emma  and  Bing and worth   Knocking  down  passes or making Pics

 it  ended  with  Heather   kicking her  75 yarder.

 ..now, guys?  I going to say this... what i  had the   video guys pull up? That was  just a timy bit of   'highlights'.. the Dragon's  whole game...is a highlight!

 The Older  Guy waved at  the screen,... comon?... except  for Hope  and Steele  and  MAybe..Miles? none of these guys    could play anywhere else!

 The   Wideout  slapped the desk  and pointed at the older guy,.THAT"S  IT!.... most of them wouldn't be on another  Team..  except the  Jags!... But Sims  has  brought in his  kind of players... installed his  kind of offense.. and he has these   guys  believing !

 the  woman laughed  as she held up a newspaper  from San Diego.. that Showed  Duke  with   cartoon  hair   and his hand  Glowing  as he held  a glowing football "  DRAGON BALL  J "

 ..the NFL is a copy cat league, we have heard that many times...how long before the  League  starts  playing Dragon ball?

 The older guy shook his  head,..never.. the league will never resort  to playing this  'run up the score' kind of  game.

 The Wide out laughed,he's right?.... The other coaches  and front offcies  are too afraid... The Dragons didn't have anything to lose...the last 5 years , drafting  1st or second?... they had no where to go , but up.... Amota brings his own coach..who brings in his own staff  who brings in their own players... I have it some  where here.. but   Coach Sims  said, " i will never be caught from behind..and  if we lose  a game because we kept playing football..I'll be alright with that... you'll never see the dragons hide in  a shell... you'll never see us give up..no matter which end of the score  we are on....

 The woman nodded,..that  quote was in August, when they crushed a  team in preseason...and here we are..6 games to go.... Sims  didn't lie to us...

 its  still not  football.. they bring women into play... none of the  last..right?..  2  kickers... a Quarter BAck.. a Defensive back... Its  all to sell  tickets...

 ..and its  working!.. they sell  out  at Home...  extra  tickets  get  gobbled up on the road, just because  people want to see the Dragons...Buffalo is already sold out..and its  Monday!

 The woman smiled  as she  said,and your  facts aren't straight here?... The   LAdy Dragon DB is still playing... Sims  says   his  view of 'starters' are , that players  start the game.. with every single Dragon, playing in every single game, he does not feel the need to  label some one as a starter... but   reese would start on other teams

 the Wide out  shook  his head  and said,..skill wise, she   should... look at the picks  she has  made.. some argue that its because teams  target her more?.. but..that's the point...they test her, and they lose!.... and..Don't forget the Lady Kicker they have now....lets face it... the kicking  game  was the weakness.. but now? Smokey Arnest can go back to  punting.. and they seem to have some one who can get the ball through the uprights I look for her  to struggle  abit this week  with the weather... her  real test will come next week in Miami  when the weather won;t   be an excuse.

 The  older guy shook his head and threw up his arms...this is what i mean?.. of the 53 people on the active  roster..how many of them would have been on  an NFL team, if Sims wasn't the coach?..maybe? 8...10? the other two looked at each other   and the  woman  smiled  as the Camera   zoomed in on her.

well..that's al we have time for, but i will say this... fans..coaches , even other players... there can't be anyone who can deny 10-0..for  what amounts to be, an  expansion team.. records being set..highlights  being made ..veryone who is watching football this season..is watching history... and we may see the  new version of the NFL...instead of   'go big, or go home".... it will be called, " Score  big, or go home".. See you all tonight  on sportcenter..

 That Old studio  guy?  Adam called out to those  around him,..that's the  way 90% of the NFL view us....... THat   Black..is  what  40% of the players   think about us.. they'd love to play here, knowiung you're gonna play  in every game... that studio chick? She  the  Fans of the NFL....lots of  folks who are   painting thier faces and cheering for thier  teams..still have an eye on  the scorboard, just to see what we're doing... Some of you guys might not understand   the opportunity  you guys have here.... But i sure  do.... That Old guy was right about one thing... Lots of us  wouldn't be in this league, except for the dragons... Me and Mik would have just finished  our CFL season  and be packing upo to go home..so?.. those of you who don't think this is a big thing.... sit  down and think about it....where you would be , if not for  The Dragons!

Ben looked thoughtful.

"It doesn't matter where else I could play, the Dragons took me on and I am content to be a Dragon for as long as they'll have me."

 Heather watched and listened, and they where right Heather would have to be perfect to succeed in the weather they will have, but when she gets to good weather she will show this league and every fan what she can do. She couldn't wait and she was going to kick ass even in another blizzard.

 After Adam said his words Heather shook her head and say," I would be at home even teams that had hurt kickers wouldn't give me a real tryout, the Dragons are the only team that gave me a real chance and I will forever be grateful and that is why I play my ass off and will keep doing it. Show everyone when you get players together who want to play and act as a team well you get to be 10-0, but we have a long way to go and Sunday will be cold, and nasty and Buffalo plays well at home, it will take all of us but that is why we are Dragons, right."

    Smokey   came  over to them he had on a  Dragon Hoodie  over his    clothes  and   was  wearing a  dragon   stocking cap.

 yeah  man...  I don't know  where i would have  been playing?   San Francisco   asked me to come to camp, but they had 5 punters  coming in... and   the Vikings  asked me   to come to Camp too... they had  2 punters   going to camp.

 he    holds his   Hot Chocolate  with both hands,..funny thing , man?  I might  not  even qualify for   Punting stats?.. I don't have enough kicks in...

  There is a Chuckle,..look at Stalls?  Right? he's a wide out... he gets a few reps in at at wide out, and plays his  ass off on   Coverage teams?..  You   have punted, place kicked  and played  Wideout.. you're gonna play   wideout this week too., how many other punters  can say that?

   Smokey nodded..I guess.. but i was hopign to  show off  , that i'm a good punter... he looked  bummed.

 Sims  signed you up..he kept you over the other  two guys?..But he also knew, out of the three... you could aslo palce kick... and that you played  Wide out in JU Co..... don't think  any of that wasn';t   figured in by Coach..  I wouldn't ever play   poker  with him, and i'd never place chess with him!
